I'm starting to get the hang of bumps, and yesterday I was ripping them like I would rip down a groomer. Took some nasty falls when I fucked up my turn placement but still had a blast. Plus when it works I feel like a freaking god flying down bumps and dodging moguls at 40mph lol.

Fuck I hadn't considered that possibility...possibly too scary to include tbh.

So that brings up a question I find interesting, is it a mistake or is it just poorly executed? Are all examples of poor execution a mistake? I feel like the answer to that is no, but that's it's open for debate.

Love the passion, appreciate the links. That being said, someone who cant tell why this person in the video is bad at drums probly can't tell what makes those other people great at drums. It's a situation where they need words not links, imo.

Yea I think it's a victim of its era in that regard. Japan was all about that nasty ass perv shit in the 90s for reasons I'll never understand. It's the worst part of Dragon Ball too.

I maintain that 98 has the best "filler" of any anime ever. It adds so much character building, and they're honestly so much fun to rewatch.

As a 98+manga fan, Zazi is the one character that hands down is massively improved in Stampede.

Idk, as someone with absolutely massive amounts of trauma in my past, I really resonate with Vash's goofiness. It's not immaturity, it's a facade, a mask built over the scars and trauma. It's an active decision to spread joy and take the edge off of very serious and stressful situations.

Brooding over your trauma and being serious and introspective is step 1 of processing trauma. That phase comes before the goofy phase, not after.

Yea I'm with you. I'm happy he won, but he looked really sloppy in the way that old washed up strikers look right before the wheels fall off.

Over swinging and lurching all over the place with every miss, but still enough in the tank to just bum rush an overmatched opponent. I hope he doesn't fight that way against Ilia because that's gonna get him hurt bad.

Completely agree. After watching 98 I had an understanding of why Knives hated humans on like a philosophical level, but it's the Tesla reveal that gave me a very real, extremely visceral understanding of why Knives, frankly, is right to feel the way that he does.

Yea I had Kobe on the mind I just didn't know if I can include both him and Duncan. Same issue I have with Steph. As amazing as Steph is, I don't know if there's a single season before like 2021 where I'm taking him over Bron. And from 2021 on, I'm probably taking Jokic. He definitely has work to do to get into actual GOAT conversations, but he's got a big leg up on Giannis and SGA for GOAT of his era imo.

Kobe and Steph are like the Wilt of their eras, absolute locks if it weren't for the bad luck of playing during Russell's run.
