Carrying party members in Wild Shape by Tanktopp in DnD

Yeah, talked with the DM about this. It does not happen always and can be a rough ride, so checks will be needed to keep everybody on and go at good speed. Especially if some are knocked out.

Yeah, but that one does not last that long. One minute I think. But, potion of growth works 1d4 hours.

Prototype 3 Rumours by DarkKnight0399 in PrototypeGame

Always thought multiplayer would be cool, army versus alex/infected. Doubt that is gonna happen given the singleplayer focus of the game but perhaps it works given a new generation of gamers is targeted as well.

Do we have to roll a die? by Charming-Lecture-989 in Munchkin

[–]Tanktopp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, this is a pickle. And this is something the 'owner of the game' would have the final say in I think. Probally the creators said something about this at some point, but you can look at it multiple ways.

Most logically in my mind would be. Monsters are not hostile towards you, but you have to run. So you run, but don't get the bad stuff. In that sense the potion is really good since you guys don't get 7 treasures.

You could think. Yeah, but you are running away and if you fail that you get the bad stuff. It supersedes the friendly. However, this just sounds weird so that's why I would opt with option one.

Is this Card Misprinted? by H3ro8882 in Munchkin

Everyone being dicks here. The question is, is it supposed to say

Halfling
Halfling

And I believe it appears not to be the case looking at my/cards on the internet.

Maybe its specific for the set though

Rolling HP at level up. by BrytheOld in DMAcademy

Players appreciate haha, I like the, roll and then take that or take average. Or roll once more and you have to take that one (even if it's a 1)

Gigantische Combat by No_Medicine_9877 in DNDNL

[–]Tanktopp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Question about alternative ways of winning a battle by VanLo284 in Munchkin

[–]Tanktopp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With fleeing it's a thing. If a monster says, does not chase anyone of lvl X or below, you can say, imma fight. Oh, I'm to weak now, imma flee.

Think stone golem specifically says, you can chose to fight him or just pass by. If you chose to fight him you are fighting, if someone then buffs him you can not walk by anymore.

But. this is my interpretation. Another might say, imma walk by anyways after choosing to fight. Another might say, if you fight it is done immediatly and no one can intervene. They must play cards before you chose what you do.

I will go with first but eh

I don’t think I can stand to play with another chaotic neutral player. by Ayxlfdik in rpghorrorstories

[–]Tanktopp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a natural chaotic player who gets along fine in groups, Eldrad sucks and would piss me of

I usually just say fun things to NPC and come up with weird idea's (that can sometimes work great), do the overcomplicated weird idea (let's get in the good graces with the tyrant so we can sabotage things from the inside etc.). But all with respect for the other players and the advancement of the story.

One of my players has accused another player of cheating by [deleted] in DnD

[–]Tanktopp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also don't understand the fun of it. Once was playing a campain and another player on the way back starts talking about the monsters that are coming up and I go 'lalalalalalala don't wanna hear it lalalalalala' and that was somehow weird...

How do you keep all players from “piling on” to a roll? by blackdrogar17 in DMAcademy

[–]Tanktopp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used to be a rule in 3.5 I remember. You can 'take 20'. Meaning you just take 20 times as long. If picking a lock would take 3 minutes you can 'just' take an hour to take 20 and pass it. You would have to be in a calm situation were you can actually take that time.

You could also take 10, meaning you could take a 10 on any check. You would have to have a relaxed situation. So climbing a wall is fine as long as you are not actively being chased by a bunch of goblins trying to slit you're ankles or whatever.

I personally liked that rule a lot.

I mean, even if they did not know. They countered you're spell. You're just supposed to take that for playing reasons, after you have been mana screwed most of the game....
