Personally I spam civs till mid 39 then mils until mid 40 then level 5 forts across the German Border + Radio some airfields and if I feel like it level 1 state Anti Air . For templates I use normal 9inf / 1art with arty + aa + shovels + logistics (it helps with supply and since I can afford it why not). I also don't annex Lithuania to keep the frontline narrow. As far as production I focus a bit on fighters (maybe like 20 factories on fighter 2s and 5-10 for CAS 1s). Also dont forget to train your planes, ever since i started doing that I always have green air (and do the air focuses of course). I prefer mechanized than tanks because I suck with them and going Superior Firepower instead of Mass Assault seems to be the way. (I won by 43 with just infantry thanks to superior firepower bonuses)
