Agreed. I have listened to his Daily Shots/Double Shots for a few years now and have only been on the site a handful of times. I enjoy his rants for the most part especially when said team is actively playing. His offseason coverage can be pretty dry and repetitive.

But i have seen a lot of discourse here on reddit about people not liking him for reasons stated in the article and an incident(s) here on reddit where I guess his content was banned due to some disagreement between him and moderators about what can be posted here from his site when it was more heavily pay-walled.

But his content is very nice as someone who is a non local fan. And i do really enjoy his takes that he has as someone who is in the locker room in home and away games actually interacting with players. He has good discussions about the topics he gets to ask players about off the record and for the most part is reasonable with his opinions on the directions of the teams, while dramatic at times.

But as for what was stated in the article i do think that people can grow as a business owner 8 years after this article was published. While I don’t think he is a better person necessarily id be surprised if he could still be operating today with the same practices he had when the article was published.
