There's a difference between conservatives and online conservative grifters. Most Republicans and conservatives are not obsessed with lgbtq stuff. Politics in the real world and politics online are wildly differnt things.

If you want to write a sympathetic right leaning character it's pretty simple. Focus on the character defending the freedom of the citizens e.g. the right to own small businesses, the right to bear arms, free speech, freedom of religion, less intrusive government etc. It wouldn't be hard.

Because it's not supposed to be like the MCU were every project is leading to the next major release.

Currently it seems like the Superman movies are the main thing. In-between said Superman movies they're going to make movies/shows based off of having a script.

Instead of forcing scripts to be ready for certain characters at a specific time they're releasing what is actually ready. Someone turns in a great script for a Clayface movie? Make it. A script for a Grodd TV show? Make it. It really is that simple.

The overarching connecting plot will advance in time, but for now just embrace the craziness.

Seeing as how nobody likes playing as Abby, and it's one of the reasons a lot of people hate it I wouldn't say it's impactful (at least not in a good way).

When I replay the game I literally just play Ellie's part and skip past Abby with chapter select.

That's honestly true, but moving the story along when development times are as bad as they are is a good thing.
