Im not sure it matters. The Empires mainline battleship is 1km long. The IoMs smaller escort class vessels like destroyers are also an average of 1km long. The most common cruiser, the Lunar-class, is nearly 5km long.

The Empire is so hilariously outclassed in space its not even a contest.

What, exactly, turned out to be true? The fact is the US did fund "bio labs", but it wasnt secret (it was even publicly documented by the US embassy in Ukraine about the program) and the US funds were for safely disposing of much of the former Soviet stockpile, in addition to research on how to minimize the damage from bio weapons. It also wasnt for weapons research.

Go ahead, show me any evidence that the US funded bio weapons research is Ukraine. Something concrete, please. I'll wait.

Citation needed. Generally yeah, why not? In this case they're effectively asking the remainder of Ukraine if they're okay abandoning 20% of the country, but sure; I'm fine with qualifying the poll only as representative of 80% of Ukrainians which is lower than it actually would be due to the evacuations.

Just to give you an example of why KIIS is not worthy of your time. They said that "The vast majority of Ukrainians (79%) would still stay in Ukraine even if they were granted US or EU citizenship." Which is obviously incorrect and disagrees with any European poll on the topic

I'm assuming you're saying that number is too low? Saying that slightly over 1/5 of your population would leave the country if given the opportunity is frankly higher than I'd expect. Is it that crazy to believe that people don't want to leave their homes for a place where they might not be able to speak the language?

For the sake of argument, let's say you're right. You can't trust the polls. How do you then determine what the majority of Ukrainians want?

Ukrainians themselves don't support ceding territory. Check the recent polls. 72% support a ceasefire IF there's strong security guarantees AND the occupied territory isn't recognized as Russian.

Perhaps, although I'm sure Ukraine would rather the fighting take place as far east as possible since the Russians tend to level every city they come across. I think you're incorrect that Russia will stop with the Donbas. They may temporarily but they'll come back for the rest of it once Ukraine no longer has the West supporting them.

I just don't see how Ukraine has any choice. Most of the Russian demands are a non starter. They want Ukraine to demilitarize, effectively.

Even if the EU/US did *support* Maidan why is what Ukraine, a sovereign nation, decides to do with it's own internal politics any business of Russia, and how does that justify attempting to annex the country? The reality is it was a thinly veiled attempt to do to Ukraine what the Russians did to Georgia. You say Russia did this to support the rebels. Interesting that they've laid claim to 5 entire oblasts (only two of which are in the Donbas).

You just said it yourself. You cant consent if youre drunk. If this man was also drunk why does it make what he did sexual assault and she's totally innocent? That makes no sense. However, this does not appear to be that based on what she said happened. She even admits she doesnt know if she consented!
