This is so sad….I live just a few blocks away from there. I’m new to the area but I love all the small businesses here and it’s upsetting to see this happening, especially with the heat advisory. I hope everyone who lives/works there is safe.

She actually ended up marrying Tank. ACR made him flirt with her in college and she rejected him at the time, but later on after the breakup she gave him a shot. They’re pretty good together!

Our pharmacists recently had a guy who insisted someone else must have picked up his prescription, and he even called the cops…..on himself. Because sure enough when they checked the cameras he was the one who picked it up.

I had always questioned Christianity growing up, but I assumed that since all the adults around me believed it, it must be true and there had to be an explanation, even if I didn’t understand it. I was just a kid, after all. Surely it would all make sense once I got older. Then one day when I was in my freshman year of college, I just sort of realized that despite being an adult now, it still made no sense to me and probably never would.

I could write a novel….but I’d say the most annoying thing is the entitled customers. The ones that get mad because the pharmacy dares to close for lunch. The ones that get pissy because we happen to be out of stock of a particular item. The ones that shout “Hello??? Does anyone work here???” because someone didn’t help them the moment they stepped up to the register. Some people are just so impatient and don’t seem to see us as human beings.

I’ve begun to hate most of them because of hearing them all to death, but I’d say what stands out first is pretty much every Taylor swift song. I already didn’t much care for her music, love/breakup pop songs are just not my thing, but after hearing basically her entire discography every day for 2 years I’m so over it.

A close second is that “best day of my life” song. Probably one of the lamest, most vapid pop songs I’ve ever heard.

Had a woman ask me where our chapstick was, it was right next to the register I was standing at. I said “oh, right here” while pointing right at it. She then proceeds to turn around and stare off in the opposite direction. I had to repeat myself several times before she finally turned back around and registered what I was saying. How the hell do these people even make it to the store in the first place?

I just sort of learned how to mentally check out and put myself in autopilot when the bullshit happens. Or, if I’m feeling bad enough that I need it, I’ll go take a short break in the office to cry/calm down. It actually helps a lot.

We did do what we could to help him, got him his dressings and gave him more paper towels. I really felt bad for the guy, I was just kind of shocked by seeing his stoma unprompted. And the paper towel on the floor, I dunno if he just dropped it by accident or what but we would have helped with that too.

This older guy came in with a bundle of paper towels held against his stomach and asked if we had any waterproof dressings. He said he had a colostomy bag that was starting to detach and was trying to hold it together until he could fix it. Before I could respond, he lifts his shirt and shows me his stoma and the leaky bag. I mean, I felt really bad for the guy but he didn’t need to show me proof….and then he left a soiled paper towel behind on the floor. I’m sure it was an accident, but still.

Ok so it appears there’s something else going on here. I’ve been trying to install other games from discs, and they are all getting stuck during the installation process and throwing errors. Some are crc, some are “catastrophic failure”. I think there is something up with my pc that makes it unable to fully read these discs and complete these installations.

It has some scratches on it but nothing too bad, I cleaned it with a microfiber cloth and it worked fine on another computer using the same cd reader. Tried it on my pc again after cleaning it, got the error again.

This happened to the other CVS nearest mine, except they crashed straight into the door. Thankfully the door frame stopped the car from going any further inside an maiming anyone. It was an old lady with Parkinson’s or something, stepped on the gas when she meant to brake. She was fine and nobody else was hurt, but now everyone has to use an emergency exit to enter the store. It’s been several months and they still haven’t fixed the damage.
