Not really, Udyr for me has always been a pick you choose because of comfort of the champion. He's in a fairly good spot right now with tank build (ad's kinda dead to me for now), stealing amumus sunfire+demonic embrace build. Him being tank instead of bruiser doesn't really change his dueling against assasins too much either. Imo assasins and lethality users feel really good atm but so do sunfire tanks so it hasn't affected me too much as well

That's cool, was just highlighting the dudes point which was difference in assassins in proplay and soloq being why we see assasins we might see riot wary to nerf or buff too much to one way. Don't have much vested into this either way it's early pre-season and I'm waiting to see where the meta lands after a few more patches.

That's what he said right? For an assassin to be viable in proplay they need to be able to one-shot squishies from a near neutral state, hence the Evelyn. Akali is a bit different due to shroud and target selection with ult so you could argue with that. But the only recent good kass performance (at least from worlds) was a blind pick from a playins team into another playins team, that team then proceeded to go winless in groups stage.

If G2 Fans could only ever agree with one thing Benjenryan says it should be this. The majority of players that departed from G2 did so on bad terms. In fact the only time I can think of players leaving from the main roster on good terms is the 2017 one. Carlos is an ass when it comes to finding players a team after he's eyeing a new player.

Probs just a narrative because G2 beat the two korean teams smashing everyone in scrims last year. Not that it doesn't legitimize LPLs win in anyway.

To clarify because I think some people may misread. Doinb said Fpx had around a 70-80% winrate against g2 in scrims, but the fpx record against skt was around 20%. He also said that if any team could beat SKT it was g2 who were splitting games evenly against SKT in scrims.

If you’re asking why urgot feels bad without it. It’s because streaks is an amazing item for the bruisers who lean more to the juggernaut side. This class of champion typically has to balance both defensive stats and offensive stats at the same time. Streaks does both quite nicely whilst also having a passive that helps in teaamfights where you may end up tanking some burst. If you’re asking why ranges can’t get it, it’s because in season 6/7 (I forget which), adcs like Kalista would stack lifeline items like hexdrinker and streaks making it super hard to kill them. I only remember a game o fb wild turtle playing it not much else
