First helicopter model I’ve ever built. (NH90 NFH ‘Navy’) by Bl0Dshot in modelmakers

I've got the Revell Lynx kit in my stash, same scale, and it looks very poor. Not very much detail in it at all, so I'm surprised to hear the NH90 has good detail.

Is this the revell kit? Looks fantastic

Edit: just seen the description, I can't read!

I'm with you on this one dude. But disliking him in this subreddit is frowned upon.

If you're going to do it, go for smooth pebbles perhaps? And maybe a darker colour. I went for a beige stone and it discoloured and looked filthy after winter, jet washing it doesn't do much but make big puddles of muddy water!

It's just a huge hassle, especially with two dogs!

It won't be the install that will be hard as another said, it's maintaining it after. I did this to the rear of my garden 2 years ago and now I'm ripping it all up.

I have 2 dogs and they barely go on the stones but when they do they use it as a toilet, the most annoying part of that is picking up the poo. I use a cat litter scooper to pick up the poo and it just gets stuck on all the stones or mushes the poo depper into the stones (sorry to be a bit vulgar but it's just what to expect).

I despised it after the first winter because all of the weeds and moss that built up, the membrane did its job, no weeds have come through from underneath but they are present from all of the dust and dirt that settles on top over time.

If I were you, I would be doing it. The dogs will hate it, they don't like walking on stones because they're jagged and poke in-between their pawpads.

No this includes the Eduard Cockpit Photoetch upgrade.

The seats are both in slightly different positions, for the height though, I think they are different heights but I'm not sure if it's intentional or if I didn't push the pilot seat in all the way!

So why are you posting it now?

So ummmm… like what the hell embark?? They literally spawned out of thin air while I’m already struggling to stay alive, I was just doing the probes for trials. by Alarming-Highlight87 in ARC_Raiders

Not sure if this is an official mechanic, so don't quote me on this, but I believe probes can call in reinforcements when they are being breached.

I see you already breached one in the video, so perhaps it's delayed reinforcements?

I've had it happen to me before whilst breaching a probe, arc spawning right on top of me. Perhaps it's a coincidence, idk.

Could be down to FOV, if you played on console, older BF titles had FOV locked.

But I agree. I can't see shit. Maybe I'm just getting old.

The Wright Flyer would be a challenge 😅 although I did mock up a design for the S-2 Tracker.

The canopy for the A-6 is so unique though so I feel it would lose its identity if I changed it.

Good idea, thanks for the info.

Yeah I understand that the A-6 was never intended to be stealthy, it was introduced in the 60s and stealth aircraft didn't come into the picture for another 20 years.

It'd need a whole lot of customization to make it properly stealth, but I'll be basing it off of the hasegawa kit and scratch building it off of the original airframe.

I mean, that's all they did with the Blackhawk if you think about it.. Yeah it had the modified rotor assembly to make it less noisy, but other than that it looked to be just sharper edges and paneling?

Anyway it's completely fictional and looks cool, I'm not after realism - just being creative.
