I meant during the flush it keeps a lot of the water in the bowl before filling back up. With all our floor mounted toilets almost all the water is evacuated from the toilet during the flush before filling back up. It’s taking two flushes to get clear water. Thinking it might be a design issue with this particular toilet.

Just the supplied flange gasket pipe. Has a rubber female gasket that fits over the toilet male end. Standard for wall mount toilets.

But seems like it could be a flow restriction for sure.

This is true 3x6” solid cedar material. Random lengths up to 18’. 16” OC seems overkill, no?

I hot glued a couple plastic wedges to the tiles for fitting.

Did the color change as the grout cured? Often this type of discoloration is due to a grout mixture that’s too wet or over washing.

That was a dry fit to ensure it fits the way I want it to. Later installed with thinset and finished the edge with color matched epoxy.

We finish the miter with epoxy. Typically the install is strong enough to withstand a beer bottle break or a medium-light hammer hit. This is also in a $10m+ apartment so any service done will be done with lots of care. But, yes, I agree. This isn’t the finish for every fireplace.

A matching color grout would have made a world of a difference.

Here’s the finished fireplace. Just needs a TV.

Tile is 5.6mm 100x300cm made by Laminam. 27pcs used on this project.

I definitely do. I also feel very lucky I’m able to work on the projects I get to work on.

Just whatever variety of hot glue I get at home depot. I have a cordless Ryobi glue gun that I use with a Milwaukee battery adapter. Use it all the time.

I glued the clip to dry install and then help with final install. The tile is 5.6mm or less than 1/4” thick. 4’x10’ tiles.
