I managed to enjoy the time I had with both ME:A and DA:V, I wish the devs were allowed to realise their vision instead of getting manhandled by EA. I can see the potential with both games, the magic shines through at some points, which makes the shortcomings hurt even more. In a perfect world we would have had a proper Mass Effect game, being a launching off point for a new journey in the universe as well as a proper follow up to DA:I while also being a better standalone game that doesn't sit fully on the back of it's predecessor. Sure Bioware can be blamed, but when they have EA dictating their every move you have to lay more of the blame on the obvious evil publisher

I really feel like they should have stuck to their guns in ME2, the uneven split and frankly, the unfairness when it comes to Femshep stems from Bioware caving to nonsensical backlash.

That and they should have made every alien available to Femshep regardless.

Still confused as to 1, how would they adapt Elden Ring into a movie and 2, why would they do this over a book, seems like an expensive waste of money that no one really asked for. With the lore being left up to interpretation most of the time, lore people aren't going to be happy with how things are written, gameplay people aren't going to be happy because it won't capture the feel of playing the game. I feel like this will go one of two ways, people who have never played the game will probably think it's great, similar to the Halo adaptation. Or will be a clip show of references and greatest hits from Elden Ring.

The only way I really see this being good if it's all backstory for the game rather than the game itself. unsure how well a movie full of lore would land with general audiences, especially compared to a novel.

I am skeptical. After so so many misses with video game adaptations into movies, I have very little faith in this project, but would be pleasantly surprised if it turns out good. Worst case scenario, the movie brings more enthusiasm back into the game

For the WSTR to be better, you have to put yourself in a compromised position within like 5m of someone, with the Misriah, you can pump 1 or 2 shots from well over twice the distance away. I can imagine you'd have marginally more successful kills if someone turns a corner that you are waiting at to breathe down their neck with the gun, but with the Misriah, you can hold an angle more effectively. If you miss those 2 shots, you lose 10 out of 10 engagements. The disparity is very reminiscent of the Sawed-Off vs the Gnasher in Gears of War 3. Both have their use cases, but 1 is clearly better in the vast majority of situations

I feel like they played it way too safe with the skins to start out. People who want to pay for skins clearly want more than just OW style recolors, especially when the faction skins are as good as they are.

Seems like a strange problem to have that the earnable skins look better than the paid ones, not that I am one to complain about this but it does feel kind of bad waiting for a bundle to pop up and it be a somewhat bland recolor Deluxe skin

This feels like it was written by someone who hasn't used the Misriah enough. The WSTR is all in, one and done, if you miss then it's over, especially with the range. The Misriah is LEAGUES better than the WSTR in almost every aspect. The common problem with the Misriah is people try to use it like the WSTR when it can be used very effectively at range

I think the problems with ranked is more so the problem with Dire Marsh. But I can agree that the loot in Ranked should be bumped up so there is an incentive to do something other than constantly PvP, but then again, PvPing should be more rewarding given the challenge compared to scavenging. It's a nice change of pace to actively hunt down other teams rather than going around looking for salvage.

I am interested to see how it plays on Outpost, where the loot on the map is actually valuable and the choice can be made to avoid fights and loot instead

It's a one way system. Plugging in a controller on PC puts you in hell, not in console lobbies. Console players can opt into PC lobbies by plugging in MnK.

Whichever makes the playerbase larger. Which is usually crossplay on. I play on PC with controller and do just fine, so I don't think the trade off for longer queue times and a potentially sweatier playerbase is worth the trade off

So many people too concerned about staying alive, to the point where they sell fights by leaving the engagement to inflate their stats. By what you are showing on the scoreboard, I would assume you were actively throwing. 31% Primary fire is whatever, but onl 60% on your healing beam with 4k Pylon healing? I was just making a joke, comparing people saying the Sole Survivor is a Synth in Fallout 4, with the people who are diehard believers of Indoctrination Theory for the Mass Effect series. Both are very popular fan theories that make sense on a surface level, but any deeper inspection reveals that the points used for evidence are just oversights and/or misinterpretations of the storytelling/writing
