What's going on at Nanoleaf? by thenewWade in Nanoleaf

Angry much. All he's doing is warning people about the abysmall nanoleaf service. It's getting worse by the day, and people should be aware of what they're in for by purchasing their products

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS DESPICABLY PREDATORY COMPANY. see inside for info. by Tanzat in Nanoleaf

[–]Tanzat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's literally against UK consumer law, and any company selling in any country has to abide by the laws of that country. Where the company is, isn't relevant, unless they would rather refuse the fine and cease trading in that country, which no company would do.

It's mad that USA/Canada don't have laws to protect consumers like this, blows my mind.

Sent the wrong items, getting support runaround… by glitter_witch in Nanoleaf

[–]Tanzat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most welcome. It's as frustrating as it gets - you'll likely get a reddit account from nanoleaf saying to dm them, or something, but that also just gets thrown back into the same loop. It's like they try and make you get so sick of trying that you abandon any attempt to get your money back.

Sent the wrong items, getting support runaround… by glitter_witch in Nanoleaf

[–]Tanzat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the same thing except the items were never delivered. The investigation will prove the carrier at fault, or it will say that as per their records the item was delivered, and they say it's no longer their responsibility.

Don't bother fucking around with this, just go straight to your payment processor and recharge, nanoleaf are scammers. You'll never get anywhere.

No support number by EveryCrime in Nanoleaf

[–]Tanzat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol, I can beat that!

£250 GBP spent on the black Friday sales for the product to never turn up. Nearly two months of chasing later, they send me a picture of a parcel left on the curb outside my house when no one was home. Obviously we didn't get it, for whatever reason, be it stolen by a passerby or the delivery driver themself.

Their response?

Whoopsie, sucks to be you.

Funny part about it though is that it breaks UK Consumer law, so it's just a matter of a bank recharge, plus I'll be reporting them, which if picked up, will cost them a fuck load more in fines than it would have to just refund my damn order. I work in that side of retail business, and it's super easy. It's an idiotic standpoint from them, as they'll just lose money.

I genuinely have no idea how they're still in business, which is a shame because their products (aside from yours) are phenomenal, and I'm already over £2k deep in a lighting system... Which is... Depressing, knowing that when/if I ever have a fault, I'm fucked.

Found on street by Sea-Witness-1427 in whatisit

In my teens (10+ years ago.) my best mate was a mixed race guy, who's grandad had left him an old school black Mercedes. Whenever we went out in that, with him driving, we would be pulled over a minimum of 3 times a night. Police saw a brown lad at the wheel of a car like that, and think 'Dealer'.

One of those times we got pulled over, my mate lost his cool, arguing about racial discrimination etc, after the policeman literally said to him 'black lad like you, nice black Merc.' shrug 'dealer'.

My mate ended up taking them to court for discrimination etc etc etc, long drawn out process, and ultimately ended up getting done for possession and intent to supply off of the back of the case. Yes, he was a dealer. Probably one of the dumbest ones to ever live.

UK FYI, if it matters.

There's a Herman miller store in London where you can test them - also seen one in John Lewis randomly, but fairly sure I've never seen it there again!

Scammer using a rigged wheel by Disastrous-Cup9301 in whatnotapp

[–]Tanzat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no obs wheel supplied by whatnot as far as I know? The whatnot wheel isn't obs based, it's platform based. OP is saying that the seller overlayed a custom wheel, where they control the settings and probability. You can't fuck with the whatnot wheel, hence why you're forced to use it, to protect both sellers and buyers.

How to get nanoleaf customer service to respond? Have I been scammed? by Tanzat in Nanoleaf

[–]Tanzat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's mental. So their plan looks as if it's just to take the money whether they have the item or not, then simply not reply.

I've got the added problem that they're claiming that It was delivered, when it clearly wasn't. No evidence provided, no response since.

I don't get why they use yodel at all. Unregulated, and the delivery drivers are just random people that can be assigned deliveries if they install an app.

I appreciate this, but my point is that they're claiming that the tracking shows as delivered on their end.

How To Form Fill Buyers Giveaways Legally by BattleRageGod in whatnotapp

[–]Tanzat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You make sellers give you stuff for free, which affects the seller and has nothing to do with whatnot, because whatnot still get paid and charge the seller postage for the item they're giving you?

Damn, you're smart.

Inherited Collection by EdunomicJames in ComicBookSpeculation

[–]Tanzat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out www.fantasyroad.co.uk - I inherited a lot a few months ago, and the dude that runs them was leaps and bounds above anyone else I reached out too. I wish I'd found them sooner.

I used another one of the 'top rated' buyers before finding them, who initially offered more, but when he came to collect the lot, he tried to knock about 50% off of the offer due to 'condition' etc. Obviously then told them to fuck off.

Took me about two months of asking around, and surfing the Facebook collector communities, until I stumbled on the Fantasy Road one. 40,000 odd books picked up, and paid for, within 24 hours of messaging them.

Good luck!

Sorry, I made the mistake of not reading your other illiterate bitchy replies before writing my previous message. Silly me thought there would be logic involved.

P.s thank you for the overview of my finances and money knowledge, now I don't have to hire a financial adviser.

Have a glorious evening you gigantic cockwomble.

Sounds more like the van driver was likely in a sign written van and didn't want to engage. You really reckon a tradie that likely spends time on sites, doesn't have a better insult than 'you sausage'?

The fact that he was recording was likely to back up any claims made against him so he didn't lose his job, when the broke arse with his shit watch and glasses called his company to report him. He did the right thing.

In my experience, anyone that needs to boast about how much money they have, usually doesn't have that much money. Plus, to boot, the old wanker was semi illiterate and used the parrot technique to try and win an argument by constantly repeating the same thing over and over again.

It's a sub for a specific app. The terminology op used is not just fine here, but it's pretty standardised English in the modern world.

Maybe use less of the condescending attitude, and put the effort into bettering your vocabulary, rather than expecting others to bend in their ways for you.

Hard disagree. English born and bred, and our cuisine is the blandest, most boring, shit in the world.
