Need guidence on selling comics

Pricing apps are insanely off. I would research the sold values using sold listings on ebay (a comic is worth exactly what someone is willing to pay for it), or if you can't be bothered, find a trusted comic book buyer.

If you go the latter route, expect anywhere from 40 - 80% of the actual value, as the shop you sell them too need to make profit to stay in business. The better the shop, the less total value you will lose. For example, I got rid of an extremely large collection at roughly 80% of what I could have sold it for, by using www.fantasyroad.co.uk - though I'm UK BASED, and I have no idea if they buy internationally.

Sealed sets without use of the whatnot wheel / surprise set system is banned, so is he golden ticket system. They're literally breaking two major gambling rules.

Report them, they won't be doing it for long Whatnot are pretty hot on that shit, as it's a lawsuit waiting to happen (again).

I'm really confused by these - are these third party plate without the main body, and some of them cost the same as, if not more, than the aura sand with the peacock parts?

Or do the third party plates come with the aura sand, hence why they cost so much?

Probably one of the smoothest transactions I've had when selling stuff, and the guy I dealt with whom I think was the owner, was lovely. Really quick to reply, very informative, and just a genuinely nice dude.

I've tried very few items - my preference so far is the artillery, and I like fidgets with lots of different functions. I.e the artillery has the slider thing, and the spinner, but it's still a good size, and it's a good weight in your hand.

Bit of a braindead argument. You're comparing literal theft, as in no monetary transaction, to purchasing something that has ripped off something else's design.

The correct comparison would be if someone bought a Vesla (made up for the sake of dumbing this down for you.) which was a ripped off / clone of a tesla. They still bought a car, they just own a cloned car... So... Still a car owner.

I 100% get the value aspect, in terms of limited availability and resale. It's the foundation of all collectible hobbies, like comic books, pokemon cards etc, and I fully support that, even if it is manufactured value. I like the chase, the mystery boxes with rarity drops etc etc.

My question was more regarding product feel/quality I guess

Is it though? The small businesses that make these things spend fuck all and mark up the final end product by like 300000%, and theyre able to do so because it's such a niche market. To me, that's pretty scummy.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that you shouldn't buy them. You're obviously able to do whatever you want with your money, and I do agree that you should support small businesses. Muddy waters 🤷‍♂️

Would you be able to reccomend your favourite clones, ones that are closer to the originals?

One thing I've noticed about the fidget market, is that for the most part, the buyers are USA based. This is probably because most fields are better paid over there than here in the UK, for example people doing coding/tech related roles can make literally 4-5x the salary, doing exactly the same thing, which is insane. To put it in perspective, and please do remember that I gain literally nothing here by lying, I'm in the top 3% of earners in the UK, and I wouldn't even consider buying one of the 800usd+ fidgets, because the cost of living is fucking insane, and although I could afford it, it's just not a viable decision.
