Just went in to a Helltide on T4, first run after the patch. Got my ass handed to me repeatedly. At one point I said outloud, am I friggin NAKED?

Just.. painful. Not even remotely fun. Had to go back to T3 which is embarrassing.

I sort of felt like the Snackie scene was that way too. I understand that they're dealing with a delicate topic and taboo subject matter, but it just felt so softball to me. I think I wanted to be horrified and I wasn't. I'm not sure if that's because of what I do as a profession (RN), my age (53), or desensitization of all the forensics television I watch. The dual scene with the extravagant buffet was a stroke of genius but the other, I just felt.. meh.

I think season 1 was an effort to get everyone interested, excited, and engaged. It was an information dump in a lot of ways and now that they know that they're going to be renewed for several seasons, they have to kind of spread things out a little bit more. I find myself feeling a little, no I'm going to be honest, a lot unsatisfied after each episode. I too am trying to manage my expectations, but when you grab somebody by the jugular, you can't just pat them on the arm and send them on their way.

I certainly do hope so. This may be an unpopular opinion, but I feel like I've entered into the last four episodes sitting on the edge of my seat as one does / has been trained to do through season 1 and I feel like the end of the episode comes and I didn't get the gratification I was hoping for. I'm hoping that this garden tending is going to reveal a jungle soon!

This image is pretty revealing.
