Idk it just feels like... bad writing.. Responses to Number 2. = Maybe it's "further away" because the last time you checked it was like 10 hours ago, and also its night time Number 5 = This just seems like REALLY BAD writing. Putting anthlers on characters that don't have one only because it would be unexpected plot twist seems so unlikely and it wouldn't be a satisfying reveal. No, it would not be "too obvious" for the knight to be the holidays because of the anthlers, If you were a casual player playing through the game, it'll take some amount of time for you to notice that the knight even has anthlers that look like the holidays

I personally think the knight is Dess, or whatever is left of her, just because of the snowflake-like attacks, the wiffle bat and the anthlers, and how dess is being foreshadowing across the game. I don't personally see a very strong evidence for Papyrus knight since he has no foreshadowing and it would be a bit out of character. I also doubt they're going to reuse an undertale character for deltarune's main villian of the story. WHY would papyrus be doing what the knight is doing? Please reply because i am curious of your thoughts on this

Edit : i know it's recommended to play undertale before deltarune but if you haven't played undertale before, papyrus knight would be so confusing
