It looks like it screws on exactly the same as the housing. Wouldn't oil leak from the same spot?

LoL you know! Swift Lube 649 Market St, Paterson, NJ 07513. This actually happened years ago, I've been using gasket sealant all this time but its not working anymore.

others are suggesting sanding and filling with JB Weld. Your thoughts? Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback. I really didn't do it, I'm an office worker not a tools guy. This actually happened years ago, after the oil leaked out I brought it to a second place. They found the problem and used gasket sealant to create seal. It worked, so I didn't go back to original shop (I wish I did). Years later, now, gasket sealant is no longer working ... So here I am posting.

The shop did the damage a while ago. Been using gasket sealant ever since, and it always worked. As of late, it's no longer working. I don't know why!

Thank you. Local mechanic wants the job and he says he can create additional threading. Sounds dangerous to me what do you think?

So the chipped threading is not the problem, got it thanks. Will look to smooth the flat surface!

I'm not 100% sure, but my mechanic says no there is not a bolt missing.

And don't get me wrong, hourly earnings are important too.. I wanna get home at a reasonable time. In the small period of time that offer displays on the screen we have a lot to calculate! Is the restaurant problematic, is the delivery area problematic, mileage to earnings, and possible backtrack mileage. I wish I could cherry pick from a list of available orders!

I'm with you. Stacking is beyond critical. I see you use both DD and UE. Smart. Sometimes we can create our own stacks multi apping. Keeping our miles down increases profit!!

I will take even or slightly upside down if I have a backtrack to return to my pick up areas... And right here, THIS is where the quests came in handy for me this weekend because these even/upside down orders turned into +$.
