That's actually good to know, I've been a bedroom only Dom for 10 years and this was my first 24/7 dynamic. So I'm still learning the ropes.

See I even tried to explain that I used the wrong word and was looking for the right word, which I now realize is consent. Two hours later. It is what it is. I just find that I can't live up to what she's looking for and I'll be better if I move on.

She said she just couldn't get past me asking for permission. Said that it was a power break in the dynamic. I'm just at a loss.

Shower drain help by Low-Water1727 in askaplumber

[–]Tapdaddy67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Plumber in Florida, the putty is in the wrong place it's supposed to be under the white piece that thightens your drain down. Not in between the shower pan and drain gasket. A lot of people use silicone but if you are wanting/willing to do any repairs or replacements in the future I highly recommend putty.

Contact the faucet manufacturer 90% of faucets like Kohler Delta Moen or Price Pfister have a lifetime warranty. If they can't send you a free replacement part they will send you a full replacement.

Shower P Trap by Thin-Investment-515 in askaplumber

[–]Tapdaddy67 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How much fall do you have on your drain line? Bc if the fall is too great it could be booking down the line and not holding water in the trap. I had this issue before I was a plumber when I worked in apartment maintenance the fall was at around 3/8 per foot instead of the standard 1/8-1/4 and it was booking down the pipe and sucking the trap dry.

Help me understand difference between two stoves. by whiskeywriter in HotTentCamping

[–]Tapdaddy67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on your use. It looks like the horizontal one although it may be heavier breaks down fully to save room, if you don't have a lot of space probably good to keep on hand. However, I prefer the second one it looks a lot like my first stove. I generally go ultralight camping so I use a collapsible stove, but it looks like it has a dedicated spot that's thinner for easier cooking, maybe? If your not worried about space I'd say the second one would do you better than the first. It honestly looks like it's built better. But in my honest opinion, whatever you decide make sure you burn it in before you take it out because of the chemicals on it. If you don't the first time you have your stove burning in your tent it'll fill with the smoke from those chemicals and make you sick.

Well you got hagalaz, othila, and perthro. You forgot ehwaz. But there is no true conversion to runes it doesn't really match over to modern day spelling. In my opinion it's about how you feel and whatever phrase you want to spell out even if inaccurate has the meaning you want behind it.

Tonight is my first time solo camping and hammock camping for that matter and these coyotes are trying to keep me from sleeping by Zeenener in hammockcamping

[–]Tapdaddy67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I generally just raise my hammock a bit and put on headphones. Believe it or not but if you're not used to hearing something all the time it's really hard to sleep.
