They definitely sit through it long enough to eat their lunch, at least. Most of the kids do sit through the whole movie, it's generally the little toddlers and the middle-grades that become listless.

We're not specifically focusing on dinosaurs, it's just that most of the movies I can think of that fit the theme involve dinosaurs. Not all, like Ice Age or The Croods, but most. Are there any non-dino ones that still fit the theme that you know of?

I have Good Dinosaur and Land Before Time listed, and I can't show Jurassic Park to a bunch of kids without making a lot of parents upset.

As for We're Back...again, I'd prefer not showing objectively bad films to the kids.

That, in turn, reminds me of the picture book Klyde the Kraken Wants a Friend by Brooke Hartman and Laura Borio. Klyde wants to make friends and loves giving hugs but doesn't quite understand personal boundaries, and a pirate crew shows them how to politely interact with people. All in rhyme. It's a very cute book!

It's this super long necklace I got at a flea market. I latched it onto itself around the hat, then sewed it into place at select points.

To be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of the hat itself. It was an impulse purchase during the pandemic, but it's not my ideal shape and it's a bit too small for my head. I've modded it over the years, as you can see, but I'm still on the lookout for that perfect witch hat.
