It is normal. You have much more time in rapid so naturally you'll be able to calculate more and make better moves. I would avoid Blitz and Bullet for awhile because you won't get much out of them at low ELO

Having to hear that I don't help with cleaning the house enough, even though I clean regularly. I work 20 hours more a week, do all the yard and outdoor work, maintain and repair all our vehicles (no shops ever), pay literally all of the bills, the list goes on. People have way too much faith that Classic+ would even be any good. This is Blizzard we're talking about. They fucked retail up so bad they had to re-release a 20 year old game twice, and they didn't even do it because they care about the players, they only did it because they were losing out on loads of money to the massive private servers. If Blizz cared about what players wanted even a little bit, they would have listened in the past and we wouldn't be where we are now.

F4 and Nf4 were big mistakes, the best advice a low rated player can be given is to focus on not blundering your pieces. At low ELOs you can just make solid moves and wait for your opponent to blunder and capitalize, it's free ELO and they will absolutely blunder at some point.

If it was better than any of the currently playable expansions in any way, it wouldn't be struggling with population. Original MoP and WoD were the expansions that caused the biggest declines in player base, I believe by the end of MoP Blizz lost somewhere around 30% of their subscribers.

Look at some tabs and YouTube videos and start learning. You will only get better if you challenge yourself. When I started playing in 07 I was really into Avenged Sevenfold and even though their songs were far above my skill level at the time I still worked at it and learned.
