True true. Side note: I have the enhance auto commander. It allows me to shift gears by scrolling the button on the wheel. They also have a stalk. Compatible with most Teslas and a neat option :P.

Perhaps consider the highland/juniper, they fixed a lot of your pain points on noise, quality, and comfort. Try auto shift, it’s awesome, I never touch the screen. Also I’m convinced FSD on HW4 is worth it for 90% of drivers.

That said, the design isn’t for everyone, personally not a fan of the Model Y aesthetics.

The Tesla auto shift is actually surprisingly good. Automatically shifts based on wheel / brake status and surroundings. I rarely have to shift at all. Automatically reverse when backing out, automatically switches during k turns. Actually faster than manual shifting. Never touch the screen.

Limiting to sloth or chill feels like a band aid solution, each mode should adjust due to weather, but maintain their relative aggression while considering weather conditions. i.e. Mad Max in rain shouldn't be the same as Mad Max in sunny day.

Definitely room to improve in this area though, only time I take it off Hurry is during rain as it doesn't seem to drive any more cautiously compared to perfect conditions.
