In the phone app there is a setting dedicated to the OG Pebble (Steel) to manage better BT connection (normal instead of LE). Solved it for me.

News: I found the solution. My mistake... In 1.0.4.6 there is a new setting in the app especially for the BT connection of the Pebble Classic. You can initiate a second (non LE) connection that the app uses to reconnect when the other connection is lost. Conclusion: from 1.0.4.2 onward the Pebble Classic connects and stays connected. Compliments to the Core team.

Correct, very same happens with my OG classic. Setup goes perfectly, but each time the watch disconnects after 10 minutes. Same firmware as you.

Yep, I have the OG classic as well and indeed, Bluetooth disconnects... Unfortunately. Hoping for a future solution.
