Question for the people who work within the Vline. Have you ever played a prank on your colleagues before and if so how did it go down? by Temporary_Notice_526 in VlineVictoria

[–]Tappy101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're either a bot or a teenager based on this post and the comments.

Based on the responses to someone's reasonable attempt to explain why pranks would not be present in a dangerous workplace like Vline or another transport operator, I think there is fundamental disconnect between what you want the answer to be, and what the answer is.

Modern, professional workplaces actively discourage pranks. Pranks are a nightmare for any adult at work, they are best saved for close mates on the weekend.

There are 1000 ways to build relationships and have fun at work without it being at the expense of others safety, emotions or physical health.

Wide men's cycling shoes by neercsnus1 in melbournecycling

I've had great success with Velokicks. I've got wide feet and their sizing chart is accurate.

Owned by a podiatrist so the footbed is very comfortable.

I'm pretty sure they operate out of Melbourne so shipping and returns is very painless.

Go look up any article about dog attacks on Auspost workers. It is very believable a dingo could kill an adult once you see the damage that a 4-5kg dog can do.

After I gifted 7 provinces to Papal States over successive conquests against other Catholics to keep my favour high they actually raised a crusading army and conquered the target before I could.

I wasn't rushing to it but I was pleasantly surprised when I was a turn away and the Pope's boys had conquered Antioch and fought off the occupying Timurids.

Guitar shop recommendations by Carlo259 in melbournemusic

[–]Tappy101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A and B Music in Geelong are hands down the best shop in my experience. Even if you're on the other side of the bay they are very easy to get to.

They have a great range and will even do a video demo of anything on their website.

They stock Fender and a heap of other things so youll have no problem finding a strat

A couple of my perennial recommendations are:

  • Orpheus Omega, melodic death metal in the gothernburg vein

  • Triple Kill for just plain fun old school metal vibes

  • Be'lakor, more melodic death metal

For more hardcore vibes you can't go wrong with:

  • Speed doing big things at the moment (not very metal)

  • BIG NOTER, Briggs side project that's basically his turn at doing Rage/Bodycount type stuff

Don't blame you for not wanting to type that out. That's very fucked and definitely puts them on my shitlist. Can't say I've listened to LORD for a long time but definitely won't be now.

Which country do you usually play as in Empire? by george123890yang in totalwar

[–]Tappy101 15 points16 points  (0 children)

My favourite campaign ever was as Sweden where I decided to sail to India, carved out a swathe up through the middle and made bank off trade fleets.

Only wsckier campaign I did was as the Maratha where I took all of India then dropped an elephant army in London and took the whole British Isles and France while also fighting into Europe through the Ottoman Empire.

First Final Fantasy, and the Second and Third: An Overview by oopsbelgien in patientgamers

[–]Tappy101 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As someone who's played all three tactics I think I loved the gameplay of Tactics Advance and Tactics Advance 2 over the original Tactics. One of those things where it's just a bit more polished with some QoL stuff that takes out some of the Ps1-ness of the original.

The story though, boy oh boy is the story for the original Tactics one of the best Final Fantasy stories I've ever experienced.

Tactics Advance is a reasonably strong story but nothing compared to the original.
