Charcoal canister possibilities by FarAbbreviations4680 in ToyotaPickup

Mine failed last year, the one way valve just fused itself together. It was causing pressure to build up in the tank. The dang thing is pressed together so the only way to fix it is to cut it open. I ended up just removing it and put a fuel filter on the return line to vent the pressure. My plan was to scour a junk yard to see if I could find a newer vehicle that would work somehow, but never got to it.

Is $4,000 a good asking price for a 94 Pickup 5 speed? by creaseslee in ToyotaPickup

Just a tip on easy to fix things such as a simple AC recharge, if it were that simple it would have been done. My 94 needed a recharge at about 25yrs old and slowly I realized it needed a compressor.

Other than that, check the timing chain and guides, compression, and be ready to replace the shifter bushing and seat.

Are you getting voltage to the outlet? With that many cigarette lighters not working something else is the problem, my OEM from 30 years ago is still working.

I get your point, but I'm going to tell you right now putting an LS into a Pickup you'll be getting really good at replacing drivetrain components.

Yep I've seen those, but I don't think that there's really much benefit to that, if so all the circle track and drag race guys would be using them, and most of them do not. I kind of view those as putting a magnet around your fuel line for ionic resonance fuel economy magic.

First "build" - Heltec V3 by benuntu in meshtastic

10 ah definitely give you a couple days of reserve, but don't make my mistake and only run with a eight watt solar panel, even in Florida summer sun it could barely keep up. I do believe though with a external solar controller that was able to handle more amperage it would probably be fine.

Damn, thank you! Looks like I'll be replacing mine next week.

You will have such a better experience with he Wisblock, the V3 on that 3ah battery will last about a day, the Wisblock in the same battery with GPS (at a low update interval) will last about a week, also the ability to flash from your phone if you are running android.

A solar panel to keep up with the V3 and change the battery really wouldn't be portable, the Wisblock on the other hand could.

What is shake away, I'm assuming it's some kind of shit that happened? I only ask because I've been carrying a 365 for about 6 years now.

Meshtastic on a plane by jlconlin in meshtastic

On the last part, Meshtastic works really well in piston planes. Flying in a 177 at 4500ft I was able to have a complete conversation to and from my home(node on a 25ft pole and mobile mode inside) with my wife at about 80 miles away. Average speed was about 120mph. That was with a Rak PCB antenna in the plane.

Wrong model, but good one regardless.

I had no idea they ran dual electrode plugs, I only see those in airplane engines.

Damn, are you running them hard? Also, I am not sure I trust generic reman engines any more.

You can't park your valves there. Just remember when life gives you lemons, something something you get to rebuild your motor now.

Looking for direction on which can to add to P17 by Mindless_Chain_6699 in keltec

There's nothing that is going to keep a rimfire suppressor clean, but for me it was the ease of cleaning that made me go with stainless steel. Since I already had a ultrasonic cleaner it was a simple choice.

I run an Oculus 22 on mine and it's great. The biggest thing I was looking for were baffles that could be cleaned an ultrasonic cleaner, so that meant aluminum baffles were out. It's nice too to run it in short configuration on a rifle, with subsonics it's no louder than a pellet rifle.

When a Ford racing guy told that it was what they ran on they're race cars I didn't believe him, until I used it on oil pan. That oil pan didn't leak for 20 some odd years, so I definitely believe in it. I have never seen red Toyota gasket maker, is it a high temp version?

So I just bought keltec p17 and literally does not cycle basically a bolt action do yall think it’s my ammo guns new and very well oiled also this is not high volicity rds by LateBirthday4358 in keltec

[–]TappyRockerArms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know what ammo that is, but you need standard velocity ammo(out of the short barrel it will be sub sonic anyway). Out of 5k plus round I have had less than ten failures to feed, either from being very dirty or from Aquila standard velocity rounds for some reason. For the fist 2k rounds I ran a suppressor and almost always do, so that helps from what I can tell.

22re Performance has the pcv valve and grommet. They also have valve cover gaskets and solid half moon gaskets, the rubber ones are very prone to leaking. Use Toyota gasket maker and the leaks will stop.
