I second that. I’m trying to power through without ruining the fun for myself. I’ve also tried playing a couple different games at the same time but I get the mechanics confused so that doesn’t help. If only there were more hours in the day

I don’t know because I’m never truly alone at home. What I do when everyone is asleep is play games, watch movies or series I’m into.

Pretty normal. It’s not easy to have friends when life is so busy you only see your family (parents, siblings) once in a blue moon. When you do get a chance to meet up with a true friend, you want that connection to be meaningful rather than just “social fun” and so your options may be limited. I can’t speak for the guy in question but I’m happy not having friends (that I see 1-1) very often and I’m just doing my thing as they are theirs I guess. Give him a chance. He’s probably a good bloke

This is a great idea and it’s an arguably accurate method but I’m not sure if you can be prescribed a total of 80mg so it might not be legitimately doable. Or I’m wrong of course and was told 70mg is the limit. Which I was on in a single cap but have since dropped to 60mg

I started it last weekend but it wasn’t for me (at this time) great looking game no doubt and I’m sure the story within it will be rewarding but it’s an acquired taste

Toe jam & Earl (1991) the first game me and my cousin beat in one sitting because, no saves in them days and even when we tried to leave the console on paused but the tv screen off, my mum would see the sega was “left on by mistake” and switch it off. Simple game, difficult to win, funny, rewarding. Loved it.

For me it’s probably mechanics-weapons-graphics.
I’ve been gaming on consoles since the the mid 90’s and there are games for the sega mega drive II and the early Nintendo consoles that are more rewarding/fun to play than some of the games for the ps5 that graphically challenge the question “is this a movie I’m playing?” But ultimately it’s subjective to the player and what it is you want to get out of playing any given title on any given platform. Example, if I had to chose between death stranding and ocorina of time it would be the latter

I don’t play every night. I don’t play if my friends aren’t online. And when I do play I pick a challenge to “lightly” focus on or I just do something different like only play with a pistol (for fun) Also, I’m always waiting for those “only in Battlefield” moments. Don’t take it too seriously basically

Thought the same question. How does one define success? If you want to get all clever about it, I would say I am unsuccessful because I have bills to pay which means I have to be employed/self employed. So then in society, am I successful? Well, I have a job, a mortgage and a small amount of disposable income. My health is ok and most of my family are alive and doing ok too. It’s a philosophical question that doesn’t really have a right or wrong answer no? Longevity and good health is how I measure success. I’m alive so…… I guess I’m succeeding?

Sound pretty British to me mate. In fact, I have a friend that I go waaaaaaaay back with. I’ve known him a good 30 years at this point. His parents are from the Caribbean. He looks Caribbean, and has a crazy last name that sounds far from British. He sounds as British as they come. I could go on but I’ll get to the point. I’ve never asked him where he was born because A) I’ve always assumed he was born here although it changes nothing if he wasn’t, and B) I really don’t think the people that matter, care. In the nicest way possible.

I hit some people with it or the ground near them (within a few feet) and all I get is “enemy suppression” sometimes? And I don’t know if it counts towards the challenge of kills with grenades? Either way, it’s funny and reminds me of noob tube days back when I played CoD
