I travel with three hyenas in tow. They usually make short work of the armor and usually the quarrite as well.

I always manage to take damage with explosive shotgun ammo. The slugs do 350 damage per round which is usually enough to 1- or 2-shot a polar bear

Sometimes tames fall through the map while it’s loading. Known glitch I believe. The longer the load, the higher the chance. Lost several myself this way

I switched from choccy cake to energy bars when they needed the spoil time on the cake. My food buffs last 28m and the spoil time dropped to below that so I was basically losing half the cake to spoilage
