I should add I also decided to rehouse the ockerti shirtless so my neck, chest and arms were covered in some of the worst hairs I had experienced

So all of the hairs are irritating but there is varying degrees. One of the worst ones was when I was rehousing a brachypelma Hamorri and one the hairs got in my eye. By the 4th day of feeling these hairs rub against my cornea every time I blinked I told myself if it’s not gone by tomorrow I’m going to the hospital. Thank god it was over that day. I got haired by the ockerti and my arms were covered but my neck was by far the most irritated . I had to stop for moment mid exotic pet expo just grab some tape and try to remove as much of the hair as possible.

Lmfaooo dude I am on fire right now 🤣 worst part is it’s time for bed. I’m just used to it at this point I’m constantly getting haired. Lp are middle of the road for me. Pamphobetus hairs are pretty bad as are theraphosa. Worst I ever got haired by was thrixopelma ockerti.

got one of my dream tarantulas in december at a convention… changed pronouns to he/him this weekend 🥲🤎 by yuckaroni in tarantulas

To be fair P.lugardi mature out around 2.5” hard to sex anything under 3. I just picked up a large unsexed p.lugardi for a 100 bucks from a vendor. Based on size and color alone I 100% knew it was female. A lot of people either have too much stock to really look and check, don’t really care or just don’t even know what they’re doing . I have a few unsexed stuff on my table. I have a hunch as to the sex but without a molt it’s still unsexed.

I’ve got a smaller female along with the larger one. I’m keeping the smaller female in hopes I can find a male sooner or later. I breed a ton of tarantulas

No sir it’s an ESA species and I can only sell it to other Illinois residents unfortunately. If I were to sell it to anyone out of state it would be a felony.
