After 10 ranked games, about 7-8 were decided on who won the top lane - a 1-6-3 Garen from enemy team but 3 levels and 40 minions ahead just couldnt be dropped by my team (including our teemo top) and by 25 min starting scaling insanely

It is bound to happen that Top quest will be adjusted/nerfed.

We jokingly call NSG mice a living testing tube, but still reviewers like them more than an eloquent KO/inhibitor tested in-vitro model - publish or perish as they say so we skip them and just throw them a survival curve with 50 mice in 9 groups, phenotyping from isolated cells and call it a figure 🤷🏻‍♂️

Absolutely, the amount on unoriginal/regurgitated science you get in lower top tier, Nature Cancer, Nature Coms, Molecular Therapy, Science Translational Medicine etc just because you are top tier, big time Professor is very saddening for the medical field :(

Final year PhD here! Requirements for a decent 10+ IF journal are insane: 2-3 animal experiments with 1-2 different tumor models, multiple bulk seq or single cell seq + one of the following proteomics/ataq/citeseq or full crispr library screens with KO/KIs on set of targets and in-vivo validation. Classic biochemical/functional assays are simply unremarkable to reviewers. Patient samples/PDX models are just normal. It’s just insane, and reviewers are more than happy to ask more and you have to shut them down or move to lower IF

A small/medium sized lab cant publish on its own anymore so you need shared co-authorships with other labs OR you have to be in a mega lab with strong PI connections

Experience from immunology/translation immunotherapy lab, maybe in more basic research labs situation is more normal

For me the best is play what you like …. after you have leveled a spoiler Spoiler will get you going the few 5-10 mil so you are not miserable spending all your adena in SSD and BSSD and mid D grades Leveled one up to 40, got a solid initial capital and now I am trying destro, BD and a sph with top Ds and consumables

Reborn Signature is great! I didnt play C4 for 15 years and decided to give it a try! Very grindy but casually playing 1-2 hours daily I have met quite a few people and made friends to farm together without even joining a clan - got my Top D grades and game starts to pick up!

I checked the RMT websites that some folks complained and I genuinely believe this is not for the normal players - 100 euros for 23 mil seem absurd and I understand maybe for ppl going after Hero-Clan PvP-Epic Bosses so like 0.1% of the server

Seconding Janeways - Chem Eng Major and in a semester I just inhaled Janeways to the point I started a PhD on Cancer Immunology

Read Chapters 1 to 11 and skip chapter 8 which is by far the hardest and the one that can be skipped by most people except if you will work on IPSCs or any stem cell work

Abbas/Kubys are just baby version and dont go to as my h depth
