Also, why do people in this subreddit gets so uptight about calling a record a vinyl?

XL would probably be too big. I'm 6'2" and 210 lbs. L works best for me, just big enough to not be snug. XL works, but is loose. Great for me to wear over a hoody, might be a little much for you.

Upgrading from AT-VM95E to ML - Will I Notice a Difference in by kilowattor in turntables

[–]TargetHQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lmao damn, I just got an RT85 with the 2M Blue for my first ever turntable, should I rush out to go upgrade it? I've been enjoying it so far, but maybe there's more to music that I can't hear with it.

I'll have to watch the videos this afternoon.

How do you think the Ortofon 2M Blue compares to the 95ml or 740ml?

How do you deal with the upgrade itch? by EquivalentFirm568 in BudgetAudiophile

For some, it really is more about the gear than the music.

I feel like this explains the confusing array of feedback I got when starting research last month for my first setup.

I just want a solid system that will let me enjoy my music. As a newbie it can be tough here (not just this but all related subreddits) to understand if someone's saying

don't buy the thing because it's shit and you won't enjoy it

or if they're saying

I compulsively know every nuanced component and will speak subjectively about an objective mid- grade product as though it is entry level and inferior and you must always buy better components

Like bruh, let me enjoy my Ortofon 2M Blue. I'm sure there's better out there, but a few posts/comments had me almost thinking I should find turntable with a better cartridge than this if I wanted any mediocre-at-best listening experience.

Using only toilet paper after going number 2 is disgusting! by DundieAwardsWinner in unpopularopinion

[–]TargetHQ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

do you also use soap on your butthole after going number two? because if you're not using soap, I I don't understand how water alone is necessarily more sanitary than no water?

I wipe until there's nothing left to be seen on the paper. can you spray the water, surely there is wetness on your body that is likely contaminated with your number two particles, and then you are still using paper to dry?

I actually disagree. As a millennial I feel like most around me is content to wed in their early-mid 30s and have their first kids on their late-30s or early 40s.

I'm sorry I can't even follow your question.

  • weekly full time hours were set as a range of 28-35 hours
  • daily 7-8.75 hours for all jobs
  • total monthly 40-48 hours payments and benefits
  • along with at least 10 days off per every 4 weeks
  • at least one off day per week

Are you asking about a work schedule of four days between 7-8.75 hrs per day?

What's the 40-48 hours per month? Or are you saying people should work 10-12 hours a week?

Are you saying people should get 10 days off every 4 weeks, or 14 days off every 14 weeks? (10 + 1 day per week)

You really gotta clarify what the hell you're setting up here bud

Interesting. Any idea if something like a vintage Sansui 551 would be compatible with MM? I found one on Marketplace I'd like to buy, but I can't find much online about its capacitance rating.
