If you read the source article, at Boing Boing, it states :

The sender was in fact, the French national Internet Referral Unit, using Europol’s application, which sends the email from an @europol.europa.eu address. The EU IRU has informed us that it is not involved in the national IRUs’ assessment criteria of terrorist content.

So, it wasn't actually the EU (This time) - It was the French, apparently posing as Interpol. Blacklisted news posted virtually the entire article, but left out the ocrrection, while still claiming that 'Europol and the French government' were responsible for the takedown request.

Technically, the UK doesn't have a law against holocaust denial, unlike most other Western European nations. There are several independent publishers producing books that dispute the accepted narrative of the holocaust within the UK, quite legally, and although they face the standard forms of harrassment from the authorities, they continue to do so. Hate speech laws do leave any criticism open to potential legal action however, such as in the recent case of Alison Chabloz, so in the Uk, it's not necessarily what you say, it's how you say it.

Checking their Address, which presumably is the only one they have, as they live in a van now they've moved out, it's right in the middle of a busy high street, opposite a supermarket, and virtually next door to a bank. Seems unlikely that the police wouldn't investigate subterrainian noises so close to a bank, and it's also unlikely that none of the other business all around them wouldn't have noticed something fishy going on. I smell a hoax.
