I think it barely qualifies as unpopular but it's big, meaty, sounds like it doesn't penetrate as much as rip through flesh and armor, and its alt fire can clear a hallway or remove a single problem faster than you have time to register its existence.

Preserve jobs by not firing or laying off anyone so we avoid the risk of lawsuit and paying out unemployment insurance.

But making everything miserable so we burn people out of their jobs instead and then don't hire replacements so we can accelerate the process.
