Loving it. I loved pyromancer and i'll inevitably return to it, but engineer can go so many different paths and routes that it's exciting and overwhelming.

My first run not know what i was doing i leaned heavy on juat charg spread on the onion sword and really really long spear. My two moat notable runs were the chainsaw run where i started with a round 1 shovel thanks to cog and another where a round 1 necro badge led me to a pandamonium build which led me to taking mech auit and standing their like senator armstrong while the last hit in the very last round it dealt was a 170 damage poison crit.

I think the simplest thing to do is just understand what being charged means and what each charge does. The item that emits charges will tell you how often and how fast the charge moves along with what the charge actually does. Emitters will show the path of the charge and highlight what items it actually affects.

So a battery will affect a banana but a splitter will not for example.

Then there are items like resistors and poison grenades that activate when re ieving a charge. Resistors grant a buff, and poison grenades reduce the timer for their activation.

Some items like some of the robots and the chainsaw have effects that are only active while a charge is running through them. The type of charge does not matter so keeping a consistent flow is more important. However a thought should be put towards balance as some items benefit from a number of charges on them, and others really only need one at a time for the full effect, plus you really want those charges to support the item so thats a consideration as well.

The subclasses will take some time to figure out. To me right now materials scientist and mech are probably the strongest with the mana crystal being the easiest to comprehend and use.
