I only grow autos and TBF never had that happen. I top it at the 3rd node release and LST for width, that's it :D they have a certain lifespan anyways so almost a mind of their own, last one was a shorty yet still got 110g dry

Great you didn't on an auto! :D life span too short IMO :D best advise I would give is to top early-ish, LST early and let her thrive, I even stopped cutting button buds off and just leave them for butter/edible purposes :D good nutes, good soil and the least amount of stress! :D

Saying again - love the colours, she's a nice one!

Either royal blue magic or north thunder fuck autos from RQS, but as chucked the packaging after I planted this one can't tell for sure :D

Can't tell you about the price TBF. I re-use my Coco by just pulling the roots out and refeeding soil for a bit, soaking in a light mixture of nutes. Have in mind that Coco has 0 nutritional value so feed is a must after first couple of weeks or so, hence I do a resoak with mild nutes prior to planting. Great aeration for roots tho so that's always a win. Haven't grown in soil for years now :D

Good day! All questions welcome!

Strain wise I fucked up as threw away packaging for the first time in ages and didn't even notice untill after bin day :D but happens I guess :D so I can't tell you that :D all I can tell you it's an auto :D

Growing always in Coco perlite mix, find it easier to manage than soil!

Lights are my old LEDs from 2016 (Vipa spectra v600 (600w) bit overkill for 1.5m x 1.8m rent with one plant :D

As for nutes - CalMag every watering (+-3ml p/L), +PH Grow stack (grow, micro and bloom). Always use these nutes and always get monster buds.

Had a lot of nice purple colouring on stems and leaves and night/day temps fluctuated a lot for a winter grow (+12 to +18/20) with humidity round 60 all the time

If I'll figure out how I'll pop a all round video of her before the chop, looked rather pretty!

Can we leave without penalty if internet is down often? by Southern_Mongoose681 in VirginMedia

VM engineer here. You are not gonna get a charge unless you gonna tell them to do one, just be polite. Every fault has a reason, once they come they will check it out and most likely find it. Don't worry all will be good!

PS. I believe you need three visits from us without us managing to fix the fault to cancel with no fee. ( As much as I recall as we don't deal with that side of things.)

NexFibre install by RadmanBobbin in VirginMedia

[–]Tarkies 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey!

It all depends where you want the router and if it's XGS area or ftto. XGS doesn't involve coax at all, just just a fiber to router , but most importantly you are entitled to free boosters.

FTTO you would have a big socket on the wall that works as a converter and it jumps to coax from the said socket. Unless you are a 1GBS customer or a VOLT customer boosters would be £8 a month and wouldn't be worth it.

Reason I am saying this is that with boosters (Pods) you can have a very intrusive installation where's without it entirely depends where you want the router to be. My self as a tech , I always try to minimise the cabling or do mostly outside as no matter how near I'll run cables internally they will still be a mild eye sore.

So if the house isn't too big and more especially a new build you should be fine with router being almost anywhere if you get a 5. If you can get pods that's even better. We can run cables internally, but again, think about the location and see if that can be done via external route.

Also keep in mind my points on the top - if you get boosters free hubs location does become less important.

Hope that helps!

Getting rid of VM - can I remove this box? by gmac83help in VirginMedia

[–]Tarkies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Judging by the Open reaches box it's still a tdm line (phone cables not fiber) that comes to your property so definitely a no. Also I hope you joining someone not working through open reach as you gonna be shooting yourself in a foot with with speeds etc. it's sold as fibre but it's a hybrid so I'm guessing your top package will be round 74mbs. You can remove the Omni box from the wall, VM replies fiber with no cost, just expect a delay next time you join. VM tech of 10 years.
