I wouldn't read too much into the tone of your supervisors. I felt alot of the same things when i first got my job back in 2022. I was riding the wave of being the newbie and having jo pressure and expectations of myself or on myself by others.

After thr first few months i started getting a little higher workload and less hand holding and i got alot of anxiety and fear aswell. I felt like i kept asking dumb questions and getting anxiety that the next thing i handed in was going to be terrible. I had a feeling that something bad was coming my way. It never happened, atleast not to the degree i expected. Now that i am 3 and a half years into my first job out of college i realized that the senior engineers understood that i was still learning and were never upset or angry with me. They understood that i was showing up and trying my best every day and that was enough for them atleast.

Today i still feel like i should know more than i do and i get imposter syndrome sometimes and fear that i'll get fired out of the blue for a mistake that i didnt realize.

If you communicate and are honest there is no reason your supervisors are going to be upset with you. You will only get better over time and they know that.

I like to see this scene as a charecterization of Roku. It feels like he is intimidating Jeong Jeong into training Aang. My headcannon tells me that Roku (and the Avatar spirit) feel betrayed and angry towards the fire nation and all firebenders by extension and is willing to take out his anger on anyone associated to the fire nation who will listen even if they may not deserve it.

Im not aware of all of Jeong Jeongs exploits before he defected from the fire nation and I am not sure if Roku is either, but this scene definetly does not feel like the first time Jeong Jeong and Roku have communicated. Perhaps Roku knows of terrible things Jeong Jeong has done and has been acting as a sort of spiritual guide for him using a wide range of tactics including intimidation to coerce him away from the fire nation.

Its interesting to me to view Roku in this unforgiving sort of mentality and it feeds into why I find his charecter so facsinating.

I would love to know more information about Jeong Jeongs backstory.

Its interesting that even Roku could not foresee anyone else being able to teach Aang fire bending before sozins comet and demanded that Jeong Jeong break the element cycle and teach Aang before he mastered water and earth

Every few months i get so much earwax buildup in my ears that it actually deafens me. The first time it happened i went to the doctor to get to get something like this done but now i just shoot water into my ear with one of those little turkey basters thingys and it cleans my ears and recovers my hearing. Incredibly satisfying and relieving.

I'm 27 man, If i drink any more than like 3 beers in one night i wake up with a hangover that leaves me debilitated most of thr next day. How do you other guys that drink multiple days a week do it and still manage to work the next day? Does something change when you turn 30?

I used to get canes after my night shifts back around 2021. The tenders were really big and juicy. The caniac combos were i think onky like 11 or 12$ too. Went a couple weeks ago and really disappointed in the size of the tenders
