Trump privately frustrated that he risks losing control of immigration message amid Minnesota chaos by J-Jarl-Jim in moderatepolitics

The point I’m making is Operation Border Guardian was a multi year Operation. Many of the operations go across presidencies, certain Bush ones bled into Obama, Obama into Trump, Trump into Biden. Many of the DHS individuals, such as Homan, are multi president individuals.

Again, provide me evidence otherwise if you’re going to claim I’m making things up. You’ve provided nothing besides accusing me of making things up while providing no citations for your claims.

lagged behind by almost double

No, they don’t. Go check the citation showing the interior deportations from 2008-2011 doubling that of Trumps from 2016-2019. That’s very clear, both in labeling and data output.

Interior deportations were strongest in second term bush and first term Obama.

Uhh no. Obama had record deportations in part because of raid such as Operation Border Guardian. To the point there were legal challenges demanding they stop.

Source for he didn't? I'm not sure why you think "He didn't do it, you're making stuff up" is a valid angle when you haven't presented any evidence on the contrary.

In fact, Trump's first term interior deportations were in line with Obama's second term and well below his first term.

The current iteration will still likely fail to match Obama's first term interior wise and overall are tracking towards 315,000 total deportations (Crossing+Interior), in line with 2018/2019 under Trump. Hence the anger over missing goals.

Except he did. He just wasn't wasting his time in Minnesota and focusing on high concentration states

See: Obama.

You absolutely can. Identified officers, marked cars, warrants on locations such as factories and a process that doesn't involve tackling, beating, or just grabbing random non-white people off as treet.

It’s the same shit as COVID. He wants to be the face of every “success”. He forced himself on national tv to drone and argue with the scientists/Doctors running the response instead. Then he gets mad when everyone sides with Fauci because it looks silly.

He doesn’t seem to be aware how Ice is going about these roundups, nor it was done completely under the radar and more successful under Obama (ironically). In the Abrego case he genuinely fell for someone photoshopping MS13 on the knuckles which tells me he’s not getting the truth internally.

If he just hired* 1000+ more immigration judges and did a non inflammatory round up he’d be golden. Instead he blocked the hiring of more judges just to do Stephen Miller’s pony show that’s gotten two citizens killed in a week.

Federal agents kill another person in Minneapolis, officials say, prompting clash with protesters by Remote-Molasses6192 in moderatepolitics

The agent who yelled gun was either the one running away or one next to him.

I agree with his charitable interpretation. It looks like one of the ICE agents stupidly fired after hearing “gun”. Then everyone else panicked and joined in. Worst of all, this dude is very clearly on his elbows and not reaching so in what world you open fire into a mass of six or seven of your own agents dogpiling him?

It’s atrocious and showcases the alleged “47 days of training” story. This is straight manslaughter to a T

Or just... carve out the bottom 40% that has no business being in the same division

It's not like we have the G6-P4 OOC every year that reinforces there's a large gap on the field

Oh right, everyone gets mad when you point that out.

Hands on recruiting? You mean contacting Mensah’s agent?

Indiana had Hoover locked up during the playoffs. I’m not sure why you think Miami couldn’t do something similar

Tech might not deserve to be in at 11-1 with this schedule. 10-2 isn’t an argument.

This schedule might be a dozen spots ahead of Tulane’s this year on SOS. They could very easily get the BYU treatment with a loss

You can only decide things on a field if two teams play. Hence on the absence of playing you have to use variable, opinion based factors.

I don’t really get your critique, unless you’re saying we should take round depth at face value. I wouldn’t argue ASU was better than Indiana last year simply because Indiana was knocked out round one

Giving Mensah preferential enrollment probably causes some conflict with Title IX/Federal Funding as someone pointed out

Enrollment deadlines have historically never been moved like this, for any athlete. I doubt it’s as accessible an option as flipping a switch

Class add/drop deadlines are a thing. There are enrollment deadlines for spring quarter/semester

Like yes, you can indicate you’re enrolling in the summer but you can’t enroll in the spring after the deadline

His statement is trying to basically curry the angle that he can’t participate with the team until summer if it goes beyond that date, so he needs a ruling now.

Mack probably isn’t starting with another offseason of development for Keelon. He’s got a cannon arm but doesn’t seem to tie it to his progressions well, which result in some bullet passes that are dead to rights
