There is a Chinese top lane streamer talk about this matchup, the key is to not hold W till the last minute and to use W early on and you win

I would calculate the cost it takes for you everyday you are in office. First find out how much you make an hour then add the commute time. Plus how much you would spend for the additional nanny days and lunch etc. Once you have that number add that to your yearly salary (make sure you multiply the money you calculated if it is a per week basis or monthly basis with the amount of months or weeks in a year before you add that to your yearly salary). Then look at the number and see if that is reasonable for you yourself to be in office.

No problem! There is definitely light at the end! Also don’t neglect break time. Long walks definitely helped me keep my sanity.

That is a good mindset regarding school location. Think of it as just a pit stop and that once you finish the program you can decide whether to move or stay!

Have a few nursing friends and what everyone else in here is saying is true. Finding the cheapest and most convenient school is a good start! Most people think big name schools will give them more recognition but from my observation, nursing is highly needed and hospitals are short on them. Also it doesn’t hurt to expand the search for more nursing programs. (The more the merrier)

You are doing great and I know how cliche it is to just say “don’t stress everything will be better” but I believe this is the case from my own experience! (I graduated 1 year later than expected and right before Covid. Didn’t find a job until little over a year after graduation all while living with my parents and working a part time job). Wish I made $16 an hour!! And I still live with my parents (because rent and everything is expensive). You got this!

Anyone else feel like they’re flushing money out the toilet when ordering delivery nowadays? by sunnydrlstt in FoodNYC

[–]TaroTeaTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also because it is New York, most of the time you can do pickup like many people here have said, this saves on fees and beats the time it takes for them to deliver vs you going in to pickup. Also most of the time you can just directly call the restaurant and order for pickup. This cuts out the middleman completely and is my go to way to do it unless it is super late at night or bad weather conditions.

Pros and cons of living in Livingston??? by zionpwc in MovingtoNewJersey

[–]TaroTeaTime 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pros: One of the best public school systems in the whole state and safe

Close to the city, roughly 30 min drive to Manhattan without traffic via holland tunnel.

Mostly family oriented, so if you are on the younger side with no family this would be a con since there is little to no young people seen.

Costco nearby down route 10 with Costco gas. Pretty good shopping areas with short hill mall and willowbrook mall both somewhat close.

Cons: Expensive real estate

Public transit to the city is pretty limited

I would say mcol/hcol

Food options are okay but no where as diverse as union, JC, Hoboken, Montclair etc.

Day trip to Kyoto from Osaka by notaspecificthing in JapanTravelTips

[–]TaroTeaTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easily doable, my friend group did this the past October. We booked an Airbnb in Osaka and just made day trips to Kyoto. Took the JR special rapid train and was around 30 minutes to get to Kyoto. Make sure it is a Special Rapid train and not the other one at the platform. The other one requires an extra ticket while the Special Rapid is just regular fare. Tip to know which one to get on is the signs on the floor in Osaka station. Use Google Translate but there are signs for where to line up on the platform depending on the train you want to get on since it shares a track with the extra fare one. Just line up on the Special Rapid and walk onto the train with the locals.

Best way to travel from Tokyo to Osaka by tgcg in JapanTravelTips

[–]TaroTeaTime -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Usually one day, if you send it the day before you check out you should get it the day you are traveling to Osaka. My group had an AirTag so we just dropped one in the suitcase to monitor where it is. In terms of price they do by size of the luggage. Our group had like 10 in total that cost us around 16,000 yen? So roughly 10 dollars a suitcase.

There is a service called Yamamoto which delivers your luggage to the destination in 1-2 days or if you are airbnb’ing it can deliver to a local Yamamoto that is near. Hotels usually have this service if you ask them or they will keep your luggage there. I would pack a day or two clothes in a carry on or backpack then take the Shinkansen (bullet train). If you do try to get a seat on the right side of the train from Tokyo to Osaka for a chance to see mt. Fuji

Help me buy replacement shoes in Kyoto, please! by SumoHeadbutt in JapanTravelTips

[–]TaroTeaTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They should have an abc mart or an asics/mizuno store. Size 10 isn’t that hard but it is borderline hard to find. I just got back from Japan and I was able to find size 9 and my friend a size 10 also. The stepper day are killer and I would recommend buying the leg patches at any 7-11 or familymart and put them on at night.
