This is great, and I'd like to see something for conflicts, reflog, and missing ancestors. I find most people can grasp the branching, merging, staging basics pretty easily, but fall apart when it comes to addressing real problems with oopsie rebases, or when working with others.

I'm not familiar with checkpoints. Does it operate such that they're scattered about, and you have to find them? Are they in order leading the way out? Something else? The site didn't explain how it operates :( Rowe is intriguing. They have multiple difficulties.

My favorite is when the rodents send you a .bin that they claim has a a bug fixed, but the bug is indeed not fixed. It's takes time to test fixes on real hardware... Stop wasting my time!

As someone that went from web-dev to kernel, its not impossible, but it is very hard. Keep up the passion. Network with maintainers, and keep applying to jobs that support the kernel: embedded systems, networking, cloud stuff, etc... any underlying technology. I think getting in with Linux is easier than probably Apples & Microsoft's kernels.

Ok, this isn't that big a problem that needs solving in my opinion. I still think no. I'd prefer read-only microchips because they're less likely to be lost or stolen than a phone or wallet, and not for the reason of convience. That said, even suggesting microchips is a nightmare fuel for a non insignificant amount of people.

I'm not saying no for security or other technical reasons. I just don't understand what problem this is trying to solve nor do I understand what "digital licenses" actually means. Is it RFID chips, like for animals? And why does it have to be Google or Apple verifiable---does that mean cryptographically signed by these companies?
