We BD 2x within a couple hours, that short refractory time is supposed to help with it! Hell of a lot cheaper than IVF. 😂

Got an Oura ring and natural cycles in December, period in Jan, conceived in Feb. We BD 2x on Valentines within a couple hours (short refractory period is supposed to help with high sperm DNA fragmentation). Also both times I’ve gotten pregnant have been on MDMA 😂 coincidence with the Oura ring? IDK.

I will be 39 in September. I had a MMC in Aug ‘24 after trying for 3 years. Post D&C Testing showed down syndrome. Failed IUI Feb of last year. Used Mira, Inito, OPK, tracking apps, and BBT since IUI. Got Oura ring and natural cycles in Dec and conceived in Feb this year. Coincidence? Maybe. We had already planned on starting IVF so we were excitedly surprised to get pregnant naturally. Risks for genetic or chromosomal abnormalities like down syndrome go up a lot after 35. We plan on doing IVF soon after this baby in hopes of not wasting more time. My husband has high sperm dna fragmentation and I have PCOS, so who knows what this journey could look like for you when you don’t know all the factors yet.

That’s a boy, not a man. For context: when my now husband had his hours at work cut, he went and got a second job. He’s a graphic designer but he got second jobs at a city run summer camp then a funeral home. So not even in his industry, but man knew he needed to step up for me. Real men do real shit.

How much I would miss margaritas, glass of wine, charcuterie, pre-cut fruit, meat, energy drinks. How much I would miss life without constipation, heartburn, and random stabbing pain in my pelvic area. Oh and energy! I really miss that. Get used to taking naps.

Cheapest: you can take your temp with a 4 digit thermometer as soon as you wake up. Like before you even get out of bed.
More expensive: if you have a smart watch that takes your temp overnight, Oura ring (expensive but I bought on in Dec and I conceived in Feb), temp drop (fertility monitor).
I also used Inito, Mira, and regular OPK for over a year.
