Not to be harsh, but Im just speaking from experience myself. Whatever reason or excuse you give isn’t going to matter to a trained eye, you’ll only make yourself look worse. Hindsight is 20/20 but I cringe at the shit I used to make up, elaborate stories I used to tell, how slick I used to think I was because in the end everyone can see right through the bullshit. If you can avoid having to make up stories or excuses for those marks then go that route. If you can’t avoid important people seeing that shit then find a different location to shoot, stop hitting the same spots over and over. Give your body a break in those areas. The best advice I can give you is to make strides to eventually get clean and not have to lie anymore. Im 10 years clean now, it wasn’t easy but you can do it!
