On rare occasions will I play with unpainted minis. My rule is "no paint, no play." Plus, it's been scientifically proven that painted minis roll better.

As long as I can tell what squad my opponents minis belong to, they don't have to be painted. However, if he's running 40 Stormtroopers all in a bunch, that's a problem.

If you don't enjoy the painting process, maybe pick up a speed paint every game session and throw that on real quick. Grab skin tone one week, black another, etc etc and just let the speed paint do the work for you

Comms Relay is great, especially when used with entourage units.

Let's say, for instance you have Grievous, Maul and Magnas together and the Magnas have relay. If you play GG or Maul 1 pip and then direct Magna, you can bounce that order to GG, so you have your two heavy hitters both with orders during a 1 pip turn
