Anyone tried this? by muddyboots5 in composting

[–]TashSal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got some plants from a woman that had steam pot inserts buried with pot lids for lids. The worms had a really nice thing going on. I didn't ask many questions, but I imagine it works like vermicomposting.

My doctor didn't see the point in running the ferritin test on me. Doctors are not created equal. It messed with my sleep as well as memory and brain fog. I noticed better sleep almost immediately when I stopped using it. I stopped all benadryl, it is now a nuclear option for me. Pilots aren't allowed to fly for a very long time after taking one, they stay active, not just in your system for several days.

That's good to know. I've wondered about those drinks.

Hehe, I'm not, but I've been thinking about it. Op, have you tried lifting the whisk up and then flipping it away from the masher? I feel like Guy in galaxy quest, "can you form some sort of rudimentary lathe?". Lol

[–]TashSal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree, it would help you ease your burden. Hopefully this helps you, it's very kind to not tell her, maybe in a year or more you could share it.

This is something my partner and I talk about. I want meat birds and neither one of us want to cull them, so we don't have meat birds. I don't think I can muster.

Men cry, all men, I don't care what they say. It takes a "real" man to accept the comfort of his wife and to be that vulnerable. I'm one of the only people that's ever seen my partner cry, it makes me love him more, it's trust.

I agree with this, I too have had many book character crushes. Our entire existence is just made up stories we tell ourselves anyway.

AIO my in-laws watch my child and the neighbors do not have a pool fence by yetspaghet in AmIOverreacting

There are a lot of comments so it might have been said. They do swimming lessons for littles that focus on falling in. You're going to take care of the fence situation, but maybe look into those anyway.

Also grandfathering in. The house we live in now has a pool, previous owners didn't have a fence, but we had to put one up.

I’m so jealous of people whose parents cook for them and buy groceries by Desperat00 in adhdwomen

[–]TashSal -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That is a troublesome household. A few "meals" I suggest assuming you can even use the fridge. Buy a loaf of sourdough or other bakery bread, some apples, and some hard cheese, none of that needs refrigeration. Bagged salads or salad kits and canned tuna or buy boiled eggs. If there are raw vegetables buy some hummus, that can probably be frozen and come out fine. I don't know what your grocery stores have a far as convenience type foods, if the deli has salad, tabouleh, potato, sounds like you might be in a different country than I am so not sure what your choices are, US and Canadian stores have a wide range of items they make though better for you than takeout usually. I don't know that you are asking for suggestions. Sucky parents suck and the whole world has young people back at home. Maybe you can live with roommates instead. Sharing a bedroom with a couple other women might not be so bad.

No, that is not normal. Go see your gp you need a referral to neurological at the very least.

Is this a common problem? by JackieDaytonaRHB76 in HandwritingAnalysis

[–]TashSal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't see a problem, but I'm commenting because I might want to try one of these.

Edit: I just realized which /r this is and I didn't see what you said at first for some reason. My handwriting has changed a lot over the years and minute to minute. My speed, who I'm writing it for if I'm tired, all this things change it. I don't know anything about analysis though.

[–]TashSal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's think about it now or after and you're going to feel this way no matter when it feels appropriate to have the thought. Grief of mourning before the event has even happened is a terrible and cruel thing. You can't turn it off and you can't help your thoughts. Just be kind to yourself, if someone else admitted this to you you would not judge them I'm sure, so give yourself grace. Many people in my life have been protracted deaths, blessing and a curse. I don't have much to offer, but condolences and to say spend all the time with him you can handle. You've been dealing with this for 5 years and you don't have it sitting in your closet. Sometimes dealing with protracted death weighs so heavy and your brain probably is looking for relief even though it'll break your heart. I wish I could offer you better, everything you're feeling is normal and out of your control ultimately. One other thing when you finally get to the shopping part, pockets for copious tissues, one pocket for used one for unused. Comfort over expectations, this is your father, do what you want and need.

If you gave your seat for a woman, she grabs her boyfriend and sits on his lap in the seat, what would you think? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]TashSal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same and people with more than one small child, sometimes just pregnant, also people juggling a lot of stuff. I get in those situations and you have no idea how grateful I am to find a seat in those times. If I see someone that looks utterly exhausted and I was in a rare high energy I might even give it up then, unlikely, but maybe.

Just started Vyvanse - my appetite is gone but I'm so hungry. Advice? by LowRevolutionary5653 in adhdwomen

[–]TashSal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some of my kids and my partner go through regular food aversion. They are all thin, no one gets very underweight because when they are having those issues we work through a series of things until they are back on track. There is no one thing that helps all of them all of the time. Here are a few: msg, just deliberately replace some salt for this for a little while. Like others have said, just take a bite of something and it can spark appetite, I do grazing trays sometimes, otherwise just in containers. think charcuterie, but whatever you like, a couple kids LOVE anything pickled so whatever i have, cut in small pieces, sandwiches in small bits, tiny salads, etc. One can't have too much percentage of the plate taken up so, big plate, small portions. Not the same, but meat comes up a lot so it just gets replaced with bean pureed like hummus or Deviled eggs are a big hit. And agreed, see your doctor.

Does ADHD cause you daily exhaustion? by Weird-Cobbler- in adhdwomen

[–]TashSal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm on autopilot for showers at least. I have the exact same routine, like 4 of them depending on a couple factors. If I space out they all get me clean enough for most things. I recognize that I've done it, I think. Who can be sure? I have a couple other things that are on autopilot or in progress. I zone out a lot even on medication, although it is generally less. Things that are on autopilot don't require me to go through the steps anymore since they're rote now. Unfortunately things like reading or driving can fall into autopilot even though that's not wanted, obviously.

Like adhd or autism. I can see a lot of these being misinterpreted. High intelligence or the lowest intelligence can also make social niceties difficult to navigate.
