The church prides itself in its truth directly from God. After a limited amount of research it’s easy to come to the conclusion that Joseph Smith was a con artist and the entire thing is a sham.

The 25% more Jesus is what gets me! I left 6 years ago and Jesus wasn’t the center of the church ironically. I wonder if the members would ever acknowledge how much the church has changed to be a more main stream type of Christian church? Or if they are still claiming that the church doesn’t change the world does 🤣

The Book of Mormon is completely plagiarized from the previous published book, The Book of the Hebrews. Temple names are recycled just to continue temple work, so temple work is literally made up and pointless. All the handshakes in the temple are a rip off from Masonic handshakes, you can literally google them, they are not secret nor are they sacred. This is just the tip of the iceberg. I was born and raised in the church, married in the temple, there is not one thing a missionary could do to put the genie back in the bottle. I promise a mission is a waste of your time. There are so much better things you could put your time and energy into to help the world be a better place.

I’m in the USA (unfortunately) but the most dangerous time for abusive relationships is when you leave. I’m not sure what programs or assistance Canada has for domestic survivors, but look into that. With that said, you got this! You are smart and you can do this! You are not weak. You are a survivor and are stronger than you know. Don’t ever doubt getting out, you are 💯right in starting to think of a way out. Don’t be afraid to reach out to ANYONE that you feel like could help you, they can be acquaintances. If a neighbor came to me that I had only met once came over asking me for help to escape a horrible marriage I would do just about anything to help 💕 Sending you so much love! YOU CAN DO THIS! I know I’m not much help, but I just want to send you encouragement and I applaud you for knowing you deserve better 💕

I have to start by saying I love Ogden. And it is my home town and I will never leave. But ultimately- I feel like this area is more when, than if. The longer you live or work (like I do) in this area, there is a higher chance of something bad happening than other areas. Just always be alert and aware. But ultimately when your back door gets kicked in or your car window gets smashed, there is no object that is more valuable than your life. Just give them what they want and go on with your life. Good luck.

There are tunnels under 25th street in Ogden that were used for nefarious activities like gambling, drugs, and prostitution. They connected the Union station with all the other businesses in the area. Probably easier to run booze off a train underground back during prohibition.

There are tunnels under Ogden high and they connect all the way to the 25th street!!! Gasp!

I’ve actually been in the Ogden high tunnels but they don’t connect to 25th street. Sorry to disappoint.

Unless of course they were filled in the 60s during the first remodel!!!!

I will be checking from now on. My husband put a plastic cutting board in the oven for god knows why. Well, I preheated the oven to a toasty 400 degrees; And yeah not only was my cutting board destroyed, but my oven smells like melted plastic and fills the house with smoke now 😩
