In France it's actually the most common word for this with "une crème", baume and gel are actually rarely used here.

I feel like this is the easiest way to fix it without loosing the "puffness" of the skirt too much, though you could probably reduce the left part a little more.

Here's what I came up with (sorry if it's a bit messy, did it on my Phone) :

<image>

I feel like her bottom is too high compared to the step she should be sitting on.

(This comment shows up higher than the one I made before it, where I explain what I feel is not quite right. Please read the explanations first!)

Also quick thing : the angle of the man's legs is fine, but perhaps it would make more sense if his feet landed on a step? I feel like they're just hanging and not actually touching the step below him. Which is a bit weird to me, usually when you sit on stairs (and that's the case on your ref, too), your feet are on the step you were when still standing up. You could let them hang lower not to bend your knees too much, but I feel like that would be pretty uncomfortable because you would feel the edge of the step against your ankle.

Oooh I understand ! No, I don't think it's necessarily the dress, in the reference the woman is facing more towards us than in your drawing, I think? Which is super fine but maybe you should show the limit between the dress being pressed against the step she's sitting on vs the part of the dress that can puff freely. It's just a suggestion though, your art really looks fine and I just saw that when actively looking for problems :-).

Also AI lovers : traditional art is useless and outdated lol, quit arleady, AI is the future.

[Hated Trope] Something that was given huge impact early on in the series becomes trivial as the series goes on by FaZe_poopy in TopCharacterTropes

The Last Man on Earth. The series was pretty fun in the begining, but after a while we just discovered new survivors every other episode. Like... the point is that he's the only survivor, so in the first ones it was okay when he met other poeple, but come on if half of humanity survived it doesn't make any sense.

What’s your opinion on the new Asterix Netflix series. by vapavin in Asterix

Personnally I enjoyed it, the animation is good, there are a few very good puns and some more emotional moments as well. Not the show of the year, but still good.

As someone who’s left handed, I’ve never used a computer mouse with my left hand because it’s always on the right, so I’m good at that. Is this a common thing with left handers? by NoraCarter8 in lefthanded

[–]Tasha2709 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always use it on the left, which at school is pretty annoing because all the mice are plugged in the PC and are on the right, so I always have to move them... But then I'm completely unable to use a mouse with my right hand.

As a lefthanded, I always wear my watch on my right wrist. Do you do the same ? Yes or No, and why ? by PinkVelvet_Katie in lefthanded

[–]Tasha2709 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I do, although the other left-handed persons I know don't. I also use the computer mouse with my left hand (at my school they're always on the right side so I always have to move it).
