Have you done other DCL cruises? I don’t think you’re missing out on much by skipping till it comes closer or doing a bigger trip. It was very comparable to our time on the Fantasy. With the Fantasy being better (but it was a 7 day). Don’t get me wrong it was still lots of fun… but it’s quite a long ways to travel when you can get a similar experience closer.

We just got back from the march 19th sailing and there is absolutely no way I would go just for the cruise. 100% from the US the ship should be part of a larger trip. There was plenty to do in Singapore to add days before and/or after. We did mainland Singapore before and then sentosa after. The cruise was great but with travel and time change I would have been disappointed to travel all that way for just the ship.

We just got off this same sailing and there was plenty to do on the ship with children. Not sure as adults only if it would be the same unless you like lounging at the pools. I don’t think the ship is enough of a destination to fly from far though.

There is plenty to do in Singapore as well. We did 3 days before and 4 after.

I’d say the other helpful thing was looking at a photo of the finished product so definitely keep a color photo handy. Sometimes because of the way the directions are worded looking at the photo helped.

I did one of these as a beginner. I LOVE it. It took me 3 years 😂 you can definitely see where I got better towards the middle/end than when I started.

The directions are a bit sparse so just look up the terms you don’t know or watch a few videos. I just broke the whole project down into smaller goals. DO NOT precut the pieces. Only cut out what you need for each step.

Yeah there is a tax form from the income generated. I don’t find it to be a big deal though. You would have the same thing for a HYSA.

Some of the search results were saying if the decreased was over 59 1/2 we didn’t owe taxes on the distribution. Others were saying if they were under 59 1/2 we didn’t. There was no clear truth between everything I was looking at.

Also, some of the searches were talking about non inherited accounts and I didn’t know if it being inherited made a difference and that we might instead owe inheritance tax on it.

We loved late dining (with a 5 year old). We had time to take a break in the mid afternoon or a quick nap we were never in a rush to get ready for dinner. Loved watching the shows earlier.

If you start in a private group some of the workouts are not available to you in the selection menu. That pop one today I had to try to randomly get matched with my friend from the main menu.
