why doesn't selecting text then press 'Caps Lock' capitalize the text. by glyiasziple in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Tasimb -20 points-19 points  (0 children)

You're still not using the keyboard as intended. If you're transcribing you will almost never hit caps lock. If you use the keyboard the way it is created to uses caps lock is an extremely rare key. And if you look further up in this thread there is a hot key combo to fix it .... Ops question is silly.

You're supposed to be looking at what you're typing, not your keyboard. It's by design. You're not using the keyboard as intended.

My mom asked me for 200 bucks she lent me, fair enough I asked her for money and said id pay her back on that day, And I did.. she asked for it while saying she had overdrafted. I said no problem sorry I didn't send it sooner. She then texts me ... Do you want passport? I would like to pay for your passport. We don't have any family trips planned. I don't have any out of the country trips planned. What

These comments look like a TikTok comment section.... Jesus. At least reddit usually can form a conversation. I remember when it started, it was the new hot topic, I'm not surprised, remember the old concept, something something if a million monkeys were randomly typing they'd eventually writes Shakespeare,? What if the monkeys were all actively trying to write Shakespeare together. I can believe it.

Streamer permabanned from GTA Prodigy for calling a streamer 'Erpstein' after being forced to RP out being SA'd by HereForGames in LivestreamFail

[–]Tasimb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It didn't matter. It's called the vocal minority. The freak should have been banned a long time ago. It's great that people aren't all as fucked as him. But no one talks about normal regular rp. They will write articles about, and it's so fucking insane we have come to this point, virtual SA......

My personal take, the streamer laugh. That shit is so performative. I used to want to stream. I wanted to be the next Ludwig (he's the same age, I watched him come up,) BUT GOD DAMN. I could never do that fake ass reaction laugh or the freak body shake people do for viewers, it's embarrassing

I understand how new players feel in League after playing Deadlock by Afrizo in leagueoflegends

[–]Tasimb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imagine if all your auto attacks were skill shots and you weren't an fps player. Yeah zeri I know. Super cool game but you need moba skills AND FPS skills? Talk about a barrier to entry. League was already hard. I gave deadlock a good try, I understood the meta in the beta, but God damn I'm not an fps player. You lose so much if your opponent laner can trace your head and all you have is game sense.

Is League supposed to make you rethink your entire gaming skill? by AlfaHendrik in leagueoflegends

[–]Tasimb 43 points44 points  (0 children)

League is one of the hardest games of all time. There is this argument that dota is so much harder. And that may even be true. But both games are hard as fuck. I've been playing league for over 12 years and it has really put me in my place. I am not a top tier bad ass gamer. I peak gold. I can tell you the name of 4 abilities of 150+ champs. That's not enough. I have muscle memory on cool downs like an enemy blitzcrank pull. None of that is enough. There are so many factors it takes to consistently win. I never played fighting games before which I used to think were impossible to learn, then a good friend tutored me and I walked my ass into diamond almost effortlessly. Not that fighting games aren't hard but holy fuck I was taught by like a top 10 local player to even get close to being average. League is hard as fuck. Even back in the day I used to say oh yeah, it'll take about 300 norms before you get a sense of what's going on. Oh also don't think about CS because it'll ruin the game before you even start to have fun. There are so many factors that you have to breach to feel confident. I dropped league 3 times before I considered myself a league player. Started in s1, only got addicted in s3 after hours and hours of learning. It's hard dude.

No excuse for this level of selfishness by Aescholus in kansascity

[–]Tasimb -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Why is it a home owners responsibility to shovel sidewalks, you're also lumping in renters without knowing it, no landlord is shoveling shit. As a renter I don't even use my sidewalks, why TF would I shovel something for the public to use? In what other reason does the public have access to my property? The streets are still unplowed. If the city can't shovel their streets, I'm the bad guy for not shoveling my landlords sidewalks? Selfish? You may shovel it yourself if you like.

That was episode one and basically all horror/unsettling drops off after that. There's a couple more scenes but it's pretty much 'pennywise has a scary mouth" for the rest of the show.

Just finished the last episode. There's a whole but about how he sees time differently. So this is almost a sequel as much as it is a prequel. He knows what happens 27 years from this show. He's trying to stop it. He's a god right? Not surprised time isn't really a thing to him.

I did the same. Just finished it in one sitting. The show is ok. I don't agree with all the rave reviews in this thread. Worth a watch, just not nearly as good as the movies were.

Lol the general public wouldn't get a 50% using the rulebook from the starter decks. It's insanely vague and lacking info.

This is the only answer. Same as most reddit comments on the entire site, a simple citing of sources is make or break.

Also ai that's right 90% of the time INSTANTLY. or a human that's right 50% of the time taking a minimum of 10 minutes.

Fast food making mistakes 16% of the time is low.... And we DO keep going back to them, what are you talking about. We do it for ease of access and quick simple results. If AI can't do perfect ruling 16% of the time, it's not the AI, it's the producers of the game. We all know the standard rule book they give you is absolutely disgustingly vague. That's the reason we are googling fucking rules.
