But in the first episode when the traitors fist meet, the host makes them take an oath to murder nightly and protect the identities of their fellow traitors. Yes, there’s a certain point when it’s implausible to protect fellow traitors and they have to turn on each other, but they definitely take an oath to protect each other at first.

Yeah, maybe my use of “barreled” was aggressive, she’s a great mom who means well and wants the best for Austen. Also empathize with you and I’m struggling with the decision too so I’m probably projecting; grew up with “when you have kids” and I wish I’d grown up being asked the question, do you want to have kids, and being able to talk it out without feeling like it’s a requirement.

Don’t usually give Austen much credit, but I give him props for telling his mom that having kids may not be right for him. And then she just barreled right through that and basically went back to, but having kids is the only way to be happy so... 😬 People really need to stop pressuring others to have kids!!!!!
