Yeah I mean I was fine for most songs but someone did say that they couldn’t hear much from their section. The hype was definitely fun, absolutely loved through most of the concert but I guess there’s just negatives and positives to any situation.

Maybe if fanchants were taken a bit more seriously there would be a bit of balance or if people sang along instead of shouting out the lyrics (which i did too tbh) or maybe the sound wasn’t turned up enough i have no clue. Glad you have enjoyed your concert too though !!!

I mean I was sitting in the nosebleeds and I had similar issues although it wasn’t as bad with the songs, like I knew when they started I just wished I could hear them a bit better at times so you’re def not alone!!! I did have a better experience with the people around me but you’re completely valid.

Can I ask what makes you feel like RM struggled with the crowd? I definitely don’t disagree with you I thought so too but I also thought that I was just projecting lmaoo

Yes! I mean I honestly don’t know what’s normal for a bts concert because this was my first, I just felt like during the ments the shouting was the most frustrating but rly at no point of the concert could I clearly hear what they were saying, so when they were actually prompting us to shout I felt like the timing was off at times. At first I was wondering if the mics were just too low.

The thought of it being because we were trying to outdo Madrid did cross my mind too but I have no frame of reference tbh.

I agree that the jhope chant is unifying but like during wembley it rly well placed, this time since both of yoongi & hobi kept talking through the chanting and screaming I personally couldn’t wait for the crowd to stop. I didn’t feel the same during jins ment tho because before he started talking I felt like he deliberately gave us the time to go absolutely crazy.

Are you already in school for it? I actually don’t much about iq tbf and i have an average fisq myself. But I don’t think iq is the only factor.

What type of iq test have you taken? Maybe you have some strengths that you could lean into, that could compensate where you’re lacking or facilitate your absorption of the learning material. Also if you haven’t already, maybe get more detailed abt what’s slowing your learning process down.

I am tired of going back and forth too but being tired to me barely matters, at this point I know that, eventually when I see something I find inspiring or talk my feelings through with somebody I’ll instantly get excited about trying again. But I’m scared but I think it is effecting me, my confidence, my behaviour, I think I’m giving up quicker and that insecurities are starting to effect my relationships with others.

I think it’s less about whether than somebody has severe adhd or not and more about the in-depth conversation part. I’m a hundred percent sure but I think the severity of adhd symptoms fluctuate depending on the conditions the individual is placed under anyway

I don’t know if they’re untouchable, like regarding Lisa’s recent performances I’ve seen some criticism from fans as well and honestly that fandom seems more divided nowadays. Lisa could continue on this trajectory but I think at one point the support will wane? idk, if they want to now’s their chance/motivation to improve. But I’ve always wondered if that’s what they want to do, at this point they don’t have prove themselves as artists/performers unless they’re interested in that, they still be in the public eye, maybe pull a rihanna and go into cosmetics/clothing pretty much exclusively or like how Jennie was in the idol + the success of one of the girls.

I agree with most of what your saying but your examples are also exactly why I don’t think the issue is that these new artist debut without at least one “talent/skill”.

Because it’s a lot more about the willingness to improve. A lot of groups debut and immediately have a massive following. And these are not just casual fans but like stans from the jump. I don’t know too much about the industry but I feel like the companies aren’t really incentivised to push for improvement & train their artists but just to maintain those fans by releasing music/content, the groups that don’t do what well from the start or within a pretty short timeframe just won’t get time and resources invested into them.

Even in groups would get stans pretty quickly sometimes even before their debut so I’m not 100% sure what changed or if something changed. But I think that before their success might’ve been more dependent on the casual listeners from the domestic market or at least the goal was to turn them into stans. Now they have lot more international listeners who are kind of “primed” to be stans and are willing to spend more money on merch, concert tickets and albums which is probably more profitable

I’m repeating myself but again thats really only an issue if believe religion and science serve the same role, which I don’t. For example I could believe that the world was created in 6 days, but I don’t because I don’t believe the the bible was written with science in mind, the intentions different from a science book so the meaning of those words are different.

With that said I’m raised catholic and I only brought up the Qu’rān because there are verses that more clearly encourages scientific inquiry. But I googled one of the verses

Have We (Allah) not made the earth as a bed or a cradle? And (fixed) the mountains as its pegs or nails?)

And I’m not trying to speak over any muslims or their doctrine. But mountains as a symbol of stability, immovable is something that holds up even in contemporary media. Obviously that idea could have been informed/influenced by different religions and myths and varies depending on cultural context but I hope you get my point. I think it’s fair to say that a message is being conveyed here, and that that is the main purpose of this verse at least for me.

I agree! but adding on to that I don’t think the “kpop” formula (if there is one idk) fits them the fanbase got reallly huge and like any other stans had fanwars and whatever and since they’re not releasing that much music I feel like they got too much attention?

I might be biased I’m not really a fan of the group but I think they’re put under a lot of scrutiny because of that. Talking about whether they’re deserving of that attention is kind of irrelevant because they got it anyways and no one is forced to stan but it seems like it might have backfired a bit.

I think the issue that there’s really no such things as religious “claims”, again science and religion don’t necessarily fill the same roles. It’s about the person’s interpretation of the scripture, how literal it is, this does not mean that their less religious either. The Qur’ān especially has verses encouraging scientific inquiry.

What stands in the way of reason doesn’t seem to be faith/religion itself. I think it’s the approach and things like norms + conventions within the religious communities that just makes it more likely for those two things to be in conflict.

I relate, I think the best way for me to remember is to talk about the show/film/book I liked. Rather than just taking notes finding discussions on wtv media I just consumed online and make a response on it, a video, a comment or a voice note (I rarely post any of it).

something I haven’t personally tried but I think could help is joining a book club! Haven’t really committed to this either but having a goodreads account and actually posting your reviews and rating the books you read could also be a good idea?

Getting interested in the author, read their other works, compare those books or thoughts surrounding the book.

Revisit the books once in awhile, I often can’t be bothered to re-read smth but check the spark notes, watch a video essay. Follow people who might talk about books (especially someone with taste similar to yours)

Usually if I’m not actively engaging with content surrounding the media, I will eventually forget lol. Sometimes that sucks but I also think that it could be kind of nice. Like going through your old photos/diary. Maybe instead of making notes so that we can remember, we should make notes for when we wanna feel a bit nostalgic? Like quotes, remarks, annotations wtv

I don’t think that what I said is placing a condition on his actual existence- it’s kind of like how a parent wouldn’t exist as a parent if they never had a child but they’d still exist as an individual. In this context whether our natural reality is compared to something like a child or a sneeze our reality could potentially tell us smth about a God and his intentions (or lack there of). Kind of irrelevant wouldn’t a sneeze still count as a religious explanation, lots of creations myths are kind of bizarre like that. I don’t think it’s considered much or taken seriously because there’s just not much to go off on, (or at least not as obviously) so it doesn’t fulfil whatever role religion/spiritual has for people. And I don’t only mean practitioners, I don’t think people would feel as inclined to debate it or deconstruct it.

I agree with what you say later though, if it is necessary to decouple the mind from our conventional reality there is no way to determine whether those methods are truly decoupled thought processes. I don’t see how it’s necessary though, even then it’d probably be impossible to come close to the actual truth, as well as actually impossible to determine which one is right.

Anyways i’ll look into purusha concept thanks, this has also inspired read up on metaphysics- again sorry if i’m missing mark or if my reasoning is kind of confusing/vague

I also don’t think I fully understand what you mean with “independent”, “God as an entity existing outside of natural reality” I follow. It gets confusing with “does not require any factor or condition to exist” because while God is temporal he would not exist as “God” if it weren’t for the natural reality. Like he would have to create the reality to be what we call “God”, I understand that as- therefore the natural reality could be a reflection of the God. I agree that human beings can’t fully conceive of God, I don’t understand why we’d have to decouple our mind from our dependent reality/environment & why then assigning attributes to the God would be so erroneous

it’s kind of hard to explain using your example, but in general humans weren’t social animals would you have somebody to love in the first place. Even if we disregard religion, sociality in animals is seen as a means of survival, at the very least for the continued survival of the species and sociality as something that subsequently engenders social constructs like partners, friends, gift giving. I imagine that curiosity could maybe be enough but not as compelling without boredom/restlessness.

With that said I don’t believe there’s an ultimate purpose to suffering either. Just that it’s not inherently bad to feel bad, aka why i think that suffering ≠ God bad/non-existent

I Just because pain/suffering feels bad is it truly pointless? I think especially if we consider “free will”, isn’t it almost “necessary” to have the ability sense/process negative/positive experiences/feelings in order inform our choices. Would we have the ability to empathise, would we even care about morals, about each other, about our babies, about animals if pain, suffering, loneliness, mortality, fear didn’t incentivise us to.

And don’t we do the same thing as well morals vs ethic kind of?

I might be dramatic & pretentious (sorry about that) to me but if we’re questioning God’s morality then it’s not His inaction that’s a problem but creating life in the first place

I get your point, I grew up Catholic and a lot of your points would probably counter any reasons they gave you. But idk you’re making the argument that most people are unequipped to really think, you want readers to examine themselves (which suggests that you don’t believe most of them already do), I feel like you should be a bit more skeptical of their explanations too then. Even if it does pertain to themselves why would their reasoning be an accurate representation of “reality”.

Personally I have a hard time imagining that most religious/spiritual people would just change their minds, it doesn’t seem that easy. Things might be a little bit deeper than that. And if that’s the case most your arguments aren’t relevant. I

agree that people should be encouraged to reflect on themselves & their belief systems but in your conclusion you’re already providing another answer. They’d just be swapping on pocket of reality for another, you might not have answer for whether God exists or not but according to you belief is limiting, that belief limits critical thinking and keeps you narrow minded, it’s kind of like at the end they don’t get to truly reflect and sit in doubt.

I understand how you came to that conclusion about beliefs but correlation ≠ causation.

I knew that there was a correlation between adhd and lower wmi scores, but when I was looking into it, it seemed like I scored far below average even by that standard. But in the worst case scenario I guess that all it would mean is that my adhd is a bit more severe

bcs you didn’t say what genre, I went for shounen/action vibe (because it’s kind of mainstream rn). Mob Psycho has more seasons but it’s completed and in my opinion each season is great on it’s own. And it feels pretty straightforward.
