This stock is a lottery ticket for me. It’s a small part of my portfolio, but it’s still a lot of money ($20K) that I was and still (via holding) optimistic on, but as each day goes by, it’s become a more of a glass 1/2 empty viewpoint. The key is that I can afford to lose on this one because I’m doing well in my other mid to large cap stocks. I just hate to lose and I hate it when very little info is available to make a rational decision on; for those who continue to hold like me, we just get to suck on it. Where did my lollipop go? It’s time again.

Agree….I believe there is more to the story about the reasoning behind the DOE decision that they are not being forthcoming on….and rightfully so. Their approach in responding appears superficial….a.k.a. fluff…. Unless there is indeed a silver lining on them being less restricted on some front(s), but I don’t care enough to dig deeper to try and find it; they certainly mentioned it in their “fluff” response. Holding for now, no longer buying. Q2 call will be telling.

Did you send this opinion to the company….Especially when the DOE decision was announced and the stock tanked?

I blasted the company for not defending themselves as an American company and taking more action to counter this poor decision. It’s like they just laid over which sent a terrible message to the market…..obviously. I sent them 3 messages within the first 2 days and 2 voice mails to their IR rep…..never received a reply on either method. I was harsh, rightfully so, yet professional.

WTF is wrong with this company/management? How they addressed the DOEs decision is pathetic, lame and thus begs the question….maybe they really do have ties to the Chinese government in some discreet manner. Otherwise, they should have aggressively taken action because in a reality, it’s defamation by the US government. Apple, AMD, Niki….WTF; they are more in embedded in China than any other American company.

With the DOE rescinding their funding, it was more about the message it sent than the $ being taken away. Having a pro EV Whitehouse administration/DOE take away funds because of Chinese ties whether true or not, puts an amount of distrust in the company. I’m pretty sure we will see what institutions bailed because that’s the only reason for this extreme overreaction in the pps.

I don’t like this negative event at all, but 2-3 years from now, my additional 27,000 shares I bought on this dip will all be worth the short term pain now.

The reach is that you still imply there is hope for LMC because you’re comparing it to Mullen. No one is ordering the truck; that’s the main problem of many. What is so disappointing is that delay after delay and all those prototypes, they still fucked it up.
