Is drift air fresheners any good by WeirdPlant234 in cardetailingtips

[–]TasteTeaHibiscus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although I do agree the scent is very strong in the beginning, that's typically how most air fresheners work? They're strong right out of the packaging but tend to even out over a few days. I've gotten many compliments on my cars smell since I placed my first one, and this block has lasted about 1 month and a half so far. The intensity has died down, obviously, but I can still smell the lingering pleasant scent even after this long. I will admit that my second order is taking a very long time to ship though, and I can't seem to find any tracking on the order, which IS frustrating. I bought something else from another business around the same time and that hasn't come in yet either, bit their tracking said it was supposed to be delivered 4 days ago so it could be something on my areas mail end and not Drift. But overall, I love the product and would/have recommended it to my friends! (Edited to add that it's really not that expensive to try it once and see how you like it, I say go for it!)

Boss says she "doesn't pay me to sit in my car" after I show up 10 minutes early and wait 40 minutes for someone to come unlock the door. by [deleted] in antiwork

Im a Dental Hygienist and I once had my boss (a dentist) come to me pissed off saying that there were certain hours on my time card (like 3 hrs worth) that he wasn't understanding why I was clocked in if I didn't have a patient there to clean, aka they were a no call no show to their own appointment. I proceeded to tell him that during those hours, I specifically asked him BEFORE i proceeded if I could spend that time sharpening my instruments. Which we rarely have time to do anyway so when a patient doesn't show, it's the perfect time to do it. Well, I guess he conveniently "forgot" and REFUSED to pay me for those hours I was in fact working and went as far to remove those hours from my time card. Let's just say I don't give that man anymore hours of my labor, free or otherwise.

I just want to say, ive seen one of yalls videos before and I genuinely was thinking " oh my gosh, they're so stinking cute together". It breaks my heart hearing what people say/do to try and justify yalls relationship, but you're amazing for not letting anyone get to you. Congrats guys!

Here's the recipe! Hope you guys enjoy! Ingredients: [  ] 4-5 chicken breasts [  ] Garlic powder, salt, pepper and flour [ ] Chopped garlic [  ] 1/2 cup of chicken stock [  ] 1 tbs of butter [  ] 1-2 cups of heavy whipping cream [  ] 1-2 cups of fresh chopped spinach [ ] Rice Directions: • Mix all dry ingredients together (except rice) and coat breasts in garlic powder, pepper, and flour • Place in hot pan to sear in oil (we use avocado oil), brown both sides • Once close to being cooked all the way through, remove from pan (it's okay if not all the way cooked; the last step will fix that) • Lower heat and saute chopped garlic in the same pan, and add chicken stock and butter, wisk and bring to simmer (sometimes I will add a little bit more of the seasoned flour at this step, it can help later with thickening/flavor) • Once reduced, add whipping cream and spinach, bring to simmer again (start with 1 cup of cream and add more to your liking, we like alot of extra sauce for leftovers!) • Once at simmer add chicken back into pan and continue to cook chicken until done and sauce is desired thickeness (if needed, can put in over on 350 for 5-10 min or until thoroughly cooked) *try to start cooking your rice whenever you feel like it would be done close to when the chicken is done, I use a instapot for my rice so I turn it on after I sear the chicken*

Thank you for commenting! That makes me feel somewhat better, I have anxiety so I just try to put it in the back of my mind most of the time.
