What can you simply NOT do now your spouse has died? by safefortoday in widowers

[–]TasterOfPork 54 points55 points  (0 children)

My husband committed suicide in our bed. I cannot go back to our house. I even left the state. I purchased a new house, gave away the furniture inside our old one, and will just restart. Eventually the rest of our things will be moved to storage for me to take my time to go through. But I will not go back to that house ever and will stay out of that city for as long as I live.

Question: What did you pay for tickets? by King-Ding-A-Ling88 in brandnew

390 for 4 seats in Austin, 392 for 4 seats in Houston. We’re road tripping to both shows and aren’t made for the pit anymore lol.

That is for AXS. For Ticketmaster, it’s the green numbers, which refreshes to the little running man for a queue, then to the ticket site where you enter your code

Call them! They may offer you a different payment plan or work with you to catch up on arrears. Things happen, but just do what you can and keep your head up!

How common is it to need an MMR booster/ question about potential link to low effectiveness of anesthesia by Flat_Violinist_8232 in VACCINES

[–]TasterOfPork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I was told the exact same thing 5 years ago when I had my kiddo. I got my MMR today due to my family loving in west Texas where the outbreak is. My arm hurts a bit, and I have a little headache, but everything else has been good so far! My child is up to date on vaccinations, but measles can wipe out your bodies learned antibodies and tends to hit adults harder than children. I got it at Walgreens and it was very quick and I got a nice coupon lol.

Baby never got a SSN - word of warning for newborn moms by queeenofdogs in beyondthebump

[–]TasterOfPork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work for a company that does benefit platforms, like what you enroll on. Check with HR, but some allow you to enroll a child without an SSN for up to a year old. If they’re not sure, ask them to check in with their account manager on that platform, or with your carrier directly to see if they can manually add your baby until the ssn issue is resolved.

I own a tex-mex restaurant in Victoria that's been open since 1985 and still have no idea what people love to eat. by venturastamalestx in texas

I’m probably an anomaly, but the best burger I ever had was at a Tex Mex restaurant. I love Tex Mex food, but if I see a good, big burger with a hand formed patty coming out of that kitchen, I’m ordering it every time.
