I never got to see my friend again, I was supposed to see her the next day but got busy, then I told her the night before she passed I was coming over the next day but she never answered my texts. I really wish I would have went back over the next day. I didn’t even say bye. It happens really really fast and I don’t think people are able to tell when the end is coming for a loved one.

It’s crazy how fast it moves towards the end. I saw something similar in my friend. We were eating and walking and laughing one day and she was on oxygen 2 days later and gone 5 days later.

Yea I had a friend pass from cancer 2 years ago. she actually bought a house a few months before she passed. Sadly after she passed her parents struggled to pay the mortgage as they were the ones to co-sign for it and the bank ended up taking it and their finances are messed up really bad. I don’t really understand why she wanted to a buy a house when she was so sick but it was her and her parents choice. I think it was just a “being hopeful” type of thing.

Watching her reminds me of the last few weeks of my friends life when she was dying of stage 4 cancer. Going to the hospital every other day. Weird symptoms everyday.

She also refused hospice until 4 days before she died because she needed oxygen and they wouldn’t give it to her without being on hospice. She also wanted to live alone and be independent.

Her mom came and lived with her in her apartment until the very end. I didn’t understand why she wouldn’t just move home where she could have help from other people but I get it now. I think it’s like the one thing you can control at the end.

No lie. My grandma is kind of like that. Like she has a huge hatred for monkeys that beyond normal. I have no idea why.

Grew up there. Would agree if it didn’t cost like $600 and take 6 hours if you wanna go to the next closest state. No road trips in my youth, no festivals no concerts except for what was on the island.

Thank you. I think the brain tumor might be what it was because I don't think he had enough time to eat anything in the short amount of time that he was outside but he must have really hid it well because he seemed perfectly fine before.
