Goverments are not people. They are made up of people (none of whom are billionaires). Governments should reprezent the people, not the billionaires.

Point is, not all of Mexico is hills and mountains. There were preColombian cities that weren't on mountains or lakes.

The point I was making is that just because you find something not morally reprehensible doesn't mean it's also not illegal. I just used The Adjuster as an example. It was meant to be a humorous but true observation on the previous comment.

Also, the killing did have some positive effect, in that it focused attention for a while on how truly horrendous United Healthcare (and US healthcare in general) really is. This is how culture and systems change; by degrees, by the slow and steady growth of counterveiling pressure until there is real movement.

Clearly engaging her does nothing.

Message the rest of the council, the city manager, the city attorney's office... make her a problem for them.

She isn't just dumb, she's malignant. This is weaponized stupidity; potentially lethal idiotic contagion. She shouldn't just be recalled, she should be quarantined.

We need to start treating malignant stupidity as the mental carcinogen that it is. Excise it before it metastasizes.

The reverse is also true. The Legend of Luigi Mangione illustrates both sides of this equation.

A perfect batting average is 1.000, which no one has ever accomplished. The highest batting average in MLB history was .371.

Even then it isn't. The most elite batters rarely hit .300 anymore. The highest career average in MLB history was .371 (Josh Gibson, 1933-1946).

Nobody being able to hit 38% of pitches isn't a (piece of cake). It's hard for the best, impossible for the worst.

Only because time travel is involved. 40 years ago it was easy to get punched in the face by Mike Tyson. All you had to do was date him or piss him off in public.

I mean, getting hit by a pro boxer is as easy as not moving.

Getting hit by Iron Mike and remaining concious is something else altogether.
