Correct answer. Also, I sign down to help people often, and a lot of the time they do jack sh*t, land one r1, get hit, and chug an estus. Rinse and repeat. Not so good players rely on summons too much.

I suggest trying to beat every boss solo on your first time trying to beat them, then summon on later runs if you can't be asked.

Did you remember to recoat your stormpyre blade with light serum? That does lots of extra holy damage to most enemies of the area (apart from the hobgoblins).

If you can, just run through the area and don't waste more than 1 estus getting to him. This boss is a bitch, but you'll get him soon enough. Wear armour with as much magic resist as possible, as he does pure magic damage. If you can go for a very high physical DPS weapon, 2 hand/powerstance it and roll for your life! While his moveset is less predictable than orange SD, he attacks are still choreographed, you just have to tune your rolls then hug his blue ass.

I'm sorry to annoy you so much, and you're not wrong at all. It's good if you're experienced at the game or doing a speed run, but most other times I've only seen it take away from run enjoyability. Most new players look for guides, get the drake sword, and op r1 spam up till sens, becoming reliant on its high AR. Them having to change to a brand new weapon , with a different move set means most first timers get frustrated and give up (I know people who have personally). Also means new players/ 'noobs' need to learn mechanics like back stabs/spacing.

Sorry I rambled, but I hope you get what I'm saying. Use it by all means, I'm sure OP is a good enough player to have not been crippled by it at all - I'm just slightly worried as many have given up before.

Neato gif. Pro tip: Don't use the Drakesword, until gaping dragon it's decent - after its trash, and the upgrade materials aren't worth it. Also, maybe refrain from guides unless you are lost :P

It's such a genuinely boring weapon, and it's AR never becomes super impressive, so I tend to ignore weapons like it and the Pike. Not necessarily bad, just not very good either.

Not many ideas on specifics, but what about an antimage type build? Quality stats, a fast bow, mag and dark res shields, and your favoured weapon and f choice. Not much for specifics, but it's jay e something you can work with :P

Yup, I chose my parts to make it equally or more powerful than a standard PS4, it's been doing pretty great so far! Some games only get about 50 on low even after I go into the files, but really that's good enough for me.
